The Allariz City Council has approved the final list of candidates admitted and excluded from the call to fill one local police position (group C1, free turn, full-time, competitive examination system). The decision was detailed in Mayoral Resolution no. 2026.0474, dated October 21, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on October 27, 2026, in section IV. The publication complies with Article 20 of the General Regulation for the admission of personnel to the service of the General State Administration and the provision of jobs and professional promotion of civil servants, approved by Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10. The announcement is signed by the municipal secretary, Marta Cajide Barbeito, and bears registration number R. 2.547. All information regarding the process is available to interested parties on the council’s electronic office at https://allariz.sedelectronica.gal/.

Dates, venue and appeals

The two procedural appointments are set with specific times and locations:

  • First exercise: November 18, 2026, Wednesday, at 10:00 hours, at the same location. Applicants must carry identification documentation.

Against this resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Mayor’s Office within a period of one month from the day following publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Ourense within a period of two months, according to article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.

The final publication closes the admission phase and starts the countdown to the exams: 49 candidates are competing for a single officer position, making the process one of the most contested of the year in the Ourense local sphere. For the applicants, from now on everything depends on the physical and theoretical tests in November, with a calendar that allows no documentation errors.
