Por FactBox Admin

The Algodonales City Council has approved, by Mayoral Resolution dated August 17, 2026, the register for the Urban Solid Waste Collection Tax corresponding to the second half of the 2026 fiscal year. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz, number 168, dated September 1, 2026, and the register remains open to the public for a period of fifteen days so that legitimate interested parties may examine it and submit any claims they deem appropriate.
The resolution, signed by Mayor Ramón Ángel Acuña Racero in Algodonales on August 19, 2026, is part of the ordinary municipal tax management procedure, through which the list of taxpayers affected by this service tax is approved and made available to residents every semester.
Purpose and Scope of the Register
The register contains the tax settlements for the provision of the urban solid waste collection service for the second half of 2026, namely, the period between July and December of the current fiscal year. Its approval enables the subsequent collection of the corresponding receipts.
During the public exhibition period, interested parties may verify their data in the register and, in case of disagreement, file the allegations or claims they consider appropriate before the City Council.
Deadline and Method of Claim
The announcement sets an exhibition period of fifteen calendar days, counted from the official publication in the provincial gazette. Within this period, taxpayers may:
- Examine the register at the municipal offices of the Algodonales City Council.
- Submit in writing any claims or allegations they deem appropriate.
- Request the correction of data they consider erroneous before the collection process begins.
Regulatory Framework
This action complies with the general regime for the management of local taxes provided for in local treasury regulations, which requires the public exhibition of tax and public price registers before their effective collection. Publication in the BOP of Cádiz guarantees publicity and the right of residents to challenge the settlements within the regulatory period.
With this exhibition, the council completes the administrative cycle of the tax for the second half of the year, so that, once claims are resolved, the receipts will be ready to be collected from the local taxpayers.
