Alcubilla de las Peñas exhibits the memory of the Camino de las Vegas
Por FactBox Admin

The City Council of Alcubilla de las Peñas has initially approved the valued report for the improvement works of the Camino de las Vegas and is presenting it to the public so that interested parties may examine it and submit allegations. The agreement was adopted by the Plenary of the corporation in the session of September 30, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with the official reference BOPSO-118-14102026.
The edict occupies page 3475 of issue 118 of the provincial gazette, within section II, Local Administration. The text was signed in Alcubilla de las Peñas on October 7, 2026, by the mayor, Juan Luis Antón Antón, and corresponds to announcement number 1848.
Fifteen days for allegations
The valued report of the works was drafted by the civil engineer Ángel Millán de Miguel, as detailed in the edict itself. The document is subject to public information for a period of fifteen days following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province, a period during which any interested party may consult it and formulate any claims they deem appropriate.

- Object: valued report for the improvement of the Camino de las Vegas.
- Author: the civil engineer Ángel Millán de Miguel.

- Publication: Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 118, of October 14, 2026, p. 3475.
Three roads in the same plenary agreement
The same plenary session of September 30, 2026, initially approved two other valued reports for road improvements, also published in issue 118 of the gazette. These concern the works for the Camino de la Vega, in the town of Mezquetillas (p. 3476), and the Camino los Arrieros, in Radona (p. 3477). Both share the same author, exhibition period, and approval formula as the Camino de las Vegas file.
The three announcements follow the same processing model: initial approval in plenary, public exhibition via edict, and automatic final approval if no claims are submitted. The City Council of Alcubilla de las Peñas thus groups the improvement of the rural road network of its three population centers into a single session.
Final approval if there are no claims
The edict is explicit about the effect of the procedure: “In the event that no claims are made, it shall be understood as definitively approved.” In other words, the valued report will be approved without the need for a new plenary agreement if the fifteen-day period passes without any allegation being registered.
The published text does not detail the budget amount or the execution period of the works, data which must be consulted in the file made available to the public at the municipal offices. The insertion of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria is what opens the calculation of the period, which begins the day after its publication.
For the residents of Alcubilla de las Peñas, the procedure opens the door to the improvement of the Camino de las Vegas, a rural road in the municipality. For construction companies and sector professionals, the announcement is the first public signal of a municipal work that, if definitively approved, will lead to a procurement process. Furthermore, the period for submissions makes the file a document open to consultation and challenge by any interested party.
