Alcover submits the tax ordinances for the 2027 financial year for public information

The plenary session of the Alcover City Council provisionally approved on September 29, 2026, the modification of the municipal ordinances for the 2027 fiscal year. The agreement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona (BOPT) on October 7, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-09172, and opens a thirty-day period to submit claims or allegations. The edict is signed by the mayor, Robert Figueras Roca, dated October 1, 2026.

The publication fulfills the public information procedure prior to the final approval of the modification of the ordinances. During this period, any interested party may examine the file at the municipal offices and formulate any allegations they deem appropriate. The texts are also available to interested parties at the electronic headquarters of the Alcover City Council, accessible at http://alcover.eadministracio.cat.

The ordinances subject to review

The modification affects five texts, including fiscal and regulatory ones:

The public information period is thirty days starting from the publication in the BOPT. Any claims or allegations submitted will be resolved by the plenary session of the corporation. If none are submitted, the modification will be definitively approved without further procedure other than the full publication of the text in the BOPT.

The revised ordinances affect taxes and fees commonly paid by the citizens and businesses of the municipality. Ordinance 1.1 regulates the Property Tax, while Ordinance 1.3 sets the Tax on Constructions, Installations, and Works.
