Alconchel publishes the provisional list for two Local Police positions.

Por FactBox Admin

The Alconchel City Council (Badajoz) has approved the provisional list of accepted and excluded applicants for filling two Local Police Officer positions, through the mobility system by merit-based competition. The Mayor’s Office resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 153, of August 12, 2026, as Notice 3186/2026, and opens a period of ten business days for claims and corrections.

The process dates back to May 26, 2026, when the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz published the terms of the call in its number 98 (notice 1927/2026). The notice was subsequently published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (number 113, of June 15, 2026) and in the Official State Gazette (number 152, of June 23, 2026), pursuant to the resolution of June 15, 2026; the application submission deadline expired on July 21, 2026.

The two positions, corresponding to vacancies in the civil servant staff included in the 2026 public employment offer, belong to the Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, Local Police class, Basic scale, agent category, group C, subgroup C1. The process is governed by the terms approved by the Mayor’s Office resolution of May 26, 2026, and by article 20 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the Bases of Local Government.

Only one accepted and two excluded

The provisional list approved by the Mayor’s Office leaves only one accepted applicant, while the other two applicants are excluded for not having provided the certificate from the city council of origin certifying the requirements of section 2, paragraphs a), b), c) and e) of the terms.

  • Rua Muñoz, Antonio Manuel (DNI XX864XXXX), accepted.
  • Morera Márquez, José Antonio (DNI XX868XXXX), excluded for reason b): certificate from the city council of origin certifying the requirements of section 2, paragraphs a), b), c) and e).
  • Pérez Matamoros, Pedro (DNI XX102XXXX), excluded for the same reason b).

Ten business days to correct

In accordance with the second section of the resolution, excluded or omitted applicants have ten business days, counted from the publication of this notice in the BOP of Badajoz, to file claims or correct the defects that led to their exclusion.

The list will also be posted on the notice board of the Alconchel City Council, and the Mayor’s Office will report on the resolution to the Plenary at its next session. The document bears the signature of the mayor-president, Óscar Díaz Hernández, and the secretary-comptroller, Agustina Soto Mogío.

The merit-based mobility system allows vacant posts to be filled with active civil servants from other local councils, assessing their career and merits. The second rule requires, among other documents, a certificate from the origin council expressly certifying the specified requirements, the absence of which is precisely what led to the two published exclusions.

With this procedure, the Alconchel City Council takes a further step in strengthening its local security: filling the vacancies in the 2026 public employment offer will consolidate the municipality’s Local Police staff and guarantee the citizen security service once the claims are resolved and the two officers are appointed.
