Alcolea del Pinar announces a vacancy for an administrative position and a job bank

The City Council of Alcolea del Pinar has approved the rules and the call to fill a permanent position for an administrative assistant of General Administration as a civil servant and to establish a job bank. This is done through Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-0162, the announcement of which is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara No. 208, dated October 30, 2026, in the city council announcements section. The selection system will be a competitive examination (concurso-oposición).

One Group C1 position with a specific supplement of 8,898.40 euros

The announced position is listed under code FUN0002, classification C1 of General Administration, a single post with a destination supplement level of 16. The assigned specific supplement amounts to 8,898.40 euros, in addition to the basic remuneration of subgroup C1 and the supplements provided for in the municipal Job Position Catalog, approved by plenary agreement on March 6, 2024, and published in the BOP of Guadalajara on March 12, 2024.

The call stems from the 2026 Public Employment Offer, approved by Mayoral Resolution No. 2026/136, dated September 15, and published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha No. 137, dated September 29, 2026.

To apply, it is necessary to meet, among other requirements:

• Spanish nationality or nationality of a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or legal residence in Spain.
• Be at least 18 years old and not exceed the compulsory retirement age.
• Hold a Bachillerato degree, Intermediate Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio) or Technician degree, or equivalent.
• Possess a type B driver’s license, justified by the geographical dispersion of the position.

The performance of duties is framed within the Municipal Grouping of Alcolea del Pinar, Luzaga, Saúca, and Estriégana, headed by the convening council.

Twenty business days and a single exercise of 100 questions

Applications, adjusted to Annex II, shall be addressed to the Mayor’s Office and submitted through the General Electronic Registry or via the channels of article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 within a period of 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary of the announcement in the Official State Gazette. Submission via the municipal electronic office is also possible, and applications must be accompanied by a copy of the DNI, the required qualification, and the receipt of payment for the examination fee.

The examination phase consists of a single capacity and aptitude exercise:

• A questionnaire of 100 questions with four alternative answers and 8 reserve questions.
• Maximum duration of 120 minutes.
• Maximum score of 75 points and a minimum of 35 points to pass the test.
• Each correct answer is worth 0.75 points and each error subtracts 0.25; blank answers are not penalized.

Those who pass the competitive examination will proceed to the merit phase, with a maximum of 25 points: up to 12.5 for training and up to 12.5 for experience in public administrations. The order of appearance will begin with individuals whose first surname starts with the letter “U”, in accordance with the draw published by the resolution of July 28, 2025, of the State Secretariat for Civil Service.

Tribunal and employment pool

The qualifying tribunal will be collegiate and will aim for parity between women and men. It will consist of a presidency and secretary appointed upon the proposal of the Mayor’s Office and three members proposed by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, the Provincial Council of Guadalajara, and the City Council of Sigüenza, each with a substitute. Its headquarters are established at the City Council of Alcolea del Pinar, Calle Mayor 10.

The employment pool will be constituted by applicants who have passed at least the first test of the examination, pursuant to Article 48.2 of Law 4/2011, of March 10, on Public Employment in Castilla-La Mancha, to meet temporary needs and appointments of interim officials in the administrative category. Calls will follow the order of scoring and will require a response within a maximum period of 24 hours.

Closing

The call opens a stable public employment route in the rural area of the region, with one structural position and a pool that will allow for substitutions in four municipalities. The period to challenge the rules is one month via an appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office or two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Guadalajara.
