Alcalá del Río publica los admitidos para cuatro plazas de Policía Local

The Alcalá del Río City Council has approved the provisional list of persons admitted, excluded, and inadmissible in the open competitive examination process to fill four Local Police positions. The resolution is signed by the mayor-president, María Gema García Roca, dated October 14, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville No. 203, corresponding to Tuesday, October 20, 2026, with the official reference BOP-SE-2026-203010. Applicants who have been left off the list have ten business days to rectify their status.

The procedure begins with the Mayoral Resolution 2026-0907, of July 22, which approved the regulatory bases and the call to fill, through open competition, four Local Police positions within the civil service staff. The positions correspond to the public employment offers of 2023 and 2025.

The call was published on July 27, 2026, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville No. 143 and in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía No. 151, of August 6, 2026. The announcement also appeared in the Official State Gazette No. 200, of August 7, 2026, which opened a period of twenty business days to submit applications. Once that period closed, the Mayoral Resolution 2026-1279, of October 14, now approves the provisional list in accordance with the fifth base of the call.

421 admitted versus 93 applicants out of the process

Annex I of the resolution organizes the participants into three blocks. The first, the admitted, brings together 421 people who continue in the process and whose surnames appear in alphabetical order, with the ID (DNI) partially hidden for data protection.

The second block, the excluded, totals 81 applicants. These are applications that present rectifiable formal defects: from incorrectly completed annexes to the lack of a copy of the academic degree required in the third base, as well as the absence of a copy of a valid ID or A2 and B driving licenses.

The third block, the inadmissible, includes 12 people. In this case, the reasons are substantive and do not allow for correction: the application was submitted after the deadline or the corresponding fee was not paid.

Ten business days to appeal or correct errors

The second section of the resolution grants excluded applicants a period of ten business days to present allegations or rectify the detected errors. The count begins the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville, that is, starting from October 21, 2026.

The resolution is disseminated both in the provincial bulletin and on the municipal electronic office (alcaladelrio.sedelectronica.es), where the authenticity of the document can be verified using the validation code appearing on each page.

The six codes that explain each exclusion

Annex I assigns a numerical code to each person that refers to the specific cause of the problem. The document details the following reasons:

  • Code 1: to rectify Annex I, duly completed.
  • Code 2: to rectify the copy of the valid National Identity Document.
  • Code 3: to rectify the simple copy of the academic qualification required in the third base, or the documentation accrediting its equivalence.
  • Code 4: to rectify the simple copy of the A2 and B driving licenses, both valid.
  • Code 5: inadmissible due to application submitted after the deadline.
  • Code 6: inadmissible for failure to pay the fee.

Some files accumulate several codes at once, as occurs with the cases marked with combinations 1,3 or 2,3,4, which requires the simultaneous correction of different aspects of the application.

The publication of this provisional list is the first real filter of a process aspiring to four positions and in which more than five hundred applicants are competing, meaning the ratio far exceeds one hundred candidates per position. For those appearing in the admitted block, the next step will be the call for the competitive examination phase; for the 93 excluded and inadmissible applicants, the ten-business-day window is the only opportunity to rejoin the procedure before the list becomes definitive.
