Alcalá de Guadaíra opens 300,000 euro grants to digitalize SMEs

The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council has published the call for grants aimed at promoting digital modernization and improving the competitiveness of local SMEs for the 2026 fiscal year, with an additional amount of 300,000 euros divided into three lines of aid. The summary of the call, identified by number 220493 and code BDNS 928364, appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 177, dated September 11, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-177003.
The call is processed under a competitive bidding regime and is addressed to small and micro-enterprises and freelancers with a tax domicile in the municipality prior to its publication. In addition to the 2026 grants, the text provides for the granting of awards to the beneficiaries of the 2025 call contained in file 4356/2025.
Three lines of aid
The grants are structured into three lines with different amounts and coverage percentages:
- Line 1. Digital modernization of small and micro-enterprises: up to 70% of the project, with a maximum of 3,000 euros (excluding VAT).
- Line 2. Improvement of image and transformation of the establishment open to the public: up to 50%, with a maximum of 5,000 euros (excluding VAT).
- Line 3. Industry 4.0: projects that develop or implement technological solutions, up to 60%, with a maximum limit of 25,000 euros (excluding VAT).
Entities in lines 1 and 2 may request a maximum of one project per line, with a combined cap of 8,000 euros per beneficiary. SMEs in line 3 may only submit one project, with a maximum of 25,000 euros. Those opting for line 3 cannot simultaneously apply for lines 1 and 2.
Beneficiaries and requirements
Small and micro-enterprises constituted as freelancers or commercial companies that carry out their activity in the municipality and have a tax domicile in Alcalá de Guadaíra may apply. For line 2, it is additionally required to have an establishment and premises open to the public.
Corporate freelancers, dependent freelancers, associations, federations, confederations, civil societies, asset communities, and homeowners’ associations under a horizontal property regime are excluded.
Deadline and application method
Applications must be formalized using the Annex II model of the call, available on the municipal website, and submitted within 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP. Beneficiaries of lines 2 and 3 may request an advance of 50% of the grant when the investment exceeds 5,000 euros (line 2) or 25,000 euros (line 3), accompanied by a responsible declaration of commitment to execute 100% of the project.
The regulatory bases were approved by agreement of the Plenary on February 24, 2023, in accordance with file 2948/2023, and published in the BOP of Seville with reference BOP-SE-2023-066003 on March 22, 2023. The extract is signed by the Secretary General, José Antonio Bonilla Ruiz, in Alcalá de Guadaíra on September 9, 2026.
The call represents a direct boost to the local business fabric by facilitating the incorporation of digital technologies, the renovation of establishments, and the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions for SMEs and freelancers, with a budgetary reinforcement of 300,000 euros that expands the possibilities of accessing these grants in the municipality.
