Alcadozo approves two credit modifications for 72,790 euros

Por FactBox Admin

The Alcadozo City Council has finalized two budget credit modification files, numbers 1/2026 and 2/2026, for amounts of 35,480 euros and 37,310 euros respectively. Both agreements, adopted in the plenary session of June 29, 2026, are fully financed by the treasury surplus for general expenses and are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 101, dated August 31, 2026.

The finalization occurs as no objections were presented during the public exhibition period, in accordance with the provisions of articles 169.1 and 177.2 of the consolidated text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The announcements are signed by the mayor, Ángel Alfaro Sancho, dated August 19, 2026.

Extraordinary credit for the POM

File 1/2026 is processed as an extraordinary credit and credit supplement, allocating 35,480 euros to economic application 151, under the concept of “Final approval of the POM” (Municipal Zoning Plan). The funding comes from application 87000, Treasury Surplus for general expenses, for the same amount.

Supplements for festivals, canon, and services

File 2/2026 provides for credit supplements of 37,310 euros distributed among several expenditure items, all financed by the treasury surplus. The destinations include:

  • Alcadozo and hamlet festivals: supplement of 20,000 euros, up to a final credit of 154,680 euros.
  • To families and non-profit institutions: 2,000 euros, up to 8,200 euros.
  • UP (application 22609): 2,000 euros, up to 7,000 euros.
  • CHS Canon (Segura Hydrographic Confederation): 560 euros, up to 2,560 euros.
  • CHS Sanctions: 750 euros, up to 1,750 euros.
  • Maintenance of buildings and facilities: 7,000 euros, up to 22,000 euros.
  • Miscellaneous expenses: 3,000 euros, up to 5,000 euros.
  • Machinery, installations, and tooling: 2,000 euros, up to 3,000 euros.

Appeals and effects

Against both agreements, interested parties may file a contentious-administrative appeal in the form and within the time limits established in articles 25 to 42 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating said jurisdiction. However, pursuant to article 171.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, the filing of the appeal shall not by itself suspend the effectiveness of the challenged agreement.

The final approval of these two modifications, totaling 72,790 euros, allows the city council to allocate resources to key items for municipal management, from urban planning to local festivals and the maintenance of basic services, without resorting to new debt by financing them with the available treasury surplus.
