Alcázar cambia el tribunal que examina las dos plazas de Policía Local

The City Council of Alcázar de San Juan has modified the composition of the Qualifying Board that will judge the competitive examination for two Local Police positions. The change is formalized through resolution no. 2026007439, dated October 8, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real no. 196, dated October 12, 2026, in the City Councils section (announcement number 3273). The modification comes just a few days before the candidates take the first test, scheduled for October 14 and 15.

The selection process seeks to fill, as career civil servants and via open competition, two Local Police positions for the municipality. The provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates was published in BOP no. 168, dated September 2, 2026, by resolution of the Delegated Councilor no. 2026006479, dated August 28, 2026. Once the correction period closed, resolution no. 2026007023, dated September 25, 2026, approved the final list, appointed the Qualifying Board, and set the dates for the first test; that announcement appeared in BOP no. 187, dated September 29, 2026.

The new resolution maintains the number of candidates: 225 admitted and 13 excluded, the latter for reasons ranging from a lack of signature or data in the application to failure to prove payment of the fee or its exemption.

The new composition of the Qualifying Board

The announcement sets the final composition of the body, consisting of the following members:

  • Presidency: titular Pedro Lorente Úbeda; substitute Vicente López Serrano Moraleda.
  • Secretariat: titular María Jesús Castillo Lara; substitute Ana María Parra Rodrigo.
  • Local Police Chief’s Membership: titular Antonio Alonso Molina; substitute Miguel Ángel Moreno Moraleda.
  • Memberships appointed by the Mayor’s Office-Presidency: titular Eva María Román Campo; substitute Rosa Belén Salomón Escudero.
  • Memberships appointed by the Personnel Board: titular Ángel Luis Mazuecos Octavio; substitute Juan José Angulo Galán.
  • Memberships appointed by the Citizen Protection School: titular Ana María Rincón Salcedo; substitute Rosalía García Salazar.
  • Technical advisors: Ángel García Cosín and Jesús Abellán Moreno.

What changes regarding the September announcement

The modification only affects the memberships appointed by the Mayor’s Office-Presidency. In the previous appointment, published on September 29, those positions corresponded to José Carlos Abengózar Córdoba as titular and Ana Isabel González Aranda as substitute. The rest of the composition remains unchanged relative to the announcement in BOP no. 187.

The text is signed by the Mayor-President, Rosa Melchor Quiralte, and is made public “for general knowledge.”

Calendar of the first test

The first test, the physical fitness test, will be held on October 14 and 15, 2026, at the Municipal Sports Complex (athletics track), located at Avenida de Herencia, s/n, in Alcázar de San Juan.

  • Members of the Board are summoned at 8:30 a.m. on both days at the same location.
  • Candidates will be called at 9:00 a.m., with the order of appearance starting with the letter “Q” according to the Resolution of 11/26/2025 of the General Directorate of the Civil Service.
  • On the 14th, candidates from the surname “Quevedo” to “Díaz Portales” will be examined; on the 15th, from “Domínguez” to “Privado”.
  • Each candidate must present their DNI/NIF and a medical certificate issued no more than thirty business days prior.

The change of the board forces the candidates to readjust their references regarding who evaluates the tests, as the resolution is published only two days before the start of the physical exercises. As it is a collegiate body, any alteration in its composition must be officially published to guarantee transparency and the legal certainty of the selection process, which continues according to the dates already indicated.
