Albons definitively approves the credit modification and sets the budget

The City Council of Albons has made the credit modification file 6/2026 definitive, after no claims or allegations were formulated during the public exhibition period. The 2026 budget is set at 1,584,002.63 euros, an increase of 92,239.70 euros compared to the initial figures. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 195, dated October 9, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026_0_195_8677.

The Corporate Plenary, in the session of August 3, 2026, initially approved the credit modification file. The file was exhibited to the public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 174, dated September 9, 2026, without any allegations being presented. Since the public exhibition period passed without claims, the initial approval agreement has become definitive and is now published as a summary by chapters, once the budgetary modification has been carried out.

The edict is signed by the mayor, Josep Ramon Llavero Rodríguez, on October 6, 2026, and the document was published on page 1 of the provincial gazette.

Income: 92,239.70 euros more, via financial assets

The income budget increases from 1,491,762.93 euros (initial figure with previous modifications) to 1,584,002.63 euros. The entire increase is concentrated in a single item:

• Chapter VIII, financial assets: from €5,274.39 to €97,514.09, with an increase of €92,239.70.
• Direct taxes: €327,000.00, no changes.
• Indirect taxes: €40,000.00, no changes.
• Fees and other income: €175,317.00, no changes.
• Current transfers: €314,498.79, no changes.
• Asset income: €31,000.00, no changes.
• Capital transfers: €194,672.75, no changes.
• Financial liabilities: €404,000.00, no changes.

Expenses: more allocation for personnel, current expenses, and transfers

The expenditure budget increases by the same 92,239.70 euros and also reaches 1,584,002.63 euros. The increases are distributed among three chapters:

• Personnel expenses: €291,956.46, with an increase of €31,052.70.
• Current expenses: €594,848.00, with an increase of €58,903.00.
• Current transfers: €31,384.00, with an increase of €2,284.00.
• Financial expenses: €10,144.44, no changes.
• Capital expenses: €655,669.73, no changes.
• Contingency funds, capital transfers, financial assets, and financial liabilities: €0.00.

Two-month deadline to appeal

A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed against the definitive approval of the modification within a period of two months, counted from the day after the publication of the edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona. The appeal must be addressed to the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia.

The decision closes the procedure opened in August and provides stability to the municipal budget of Albons for the remainder of the fiscal year. The operation directly affects the municipality’s taxpayers and suppliers, as it reinforces personnel items, current expenditure, and transfers, financed with financial assets, and opens a two-month period for any challenge.
