Albesa approves the urban tram bike lane for 273,367 euros

The Plenary of the Albesa City Council has definitively approved the executive project for the pacification of roads LV-9225 and LP-9221 within the urban section of the municipality, which includes the implementation of a bike lane and a pedestrian path to connect the sports center and the municipal swimming pools. The agreement was adopted in an ordinary session on October 13, 2026, and was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida no. 199, dated October 19, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026_0_199_8595. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Antoni Balasch i Parisi, with an electronic signature dated October 14, 2026.

The project is titled “Executive project for the pacification of roads LV-9225 and LP-9221 in the urban section of Albesa. Implementation of a bike lane and a pedestrian path to connect the sports center and the municipal swimming pools” and was drafted by the architect Lluís Gracia Arnillas. The action focuses on the section of the two roads that crosses the urban center, where the goal is to organize the coexistence between motorized traffic and travel by foot and bicycle between two municipal facilities.

A budget of 273,367.47 euros

The approval sets the cost of the work at the following amounts:

• Execution budget: 225,923.53 euros.
• VAT: 47,443.94 euros.
• Total amount including VAT: 273,367.47 euros.

The approved figure corresponds to the budget of the executive project drafted by the municipal architect and is the one listed in the announcement published in the provincial gazette.

Allegations resolved before final approval

This is not the first time the Plenary has approved the project: the agreement of October 13 resolves the allegations presented during the public information period and thus closes the municipal processing of the file. According to the announcement, the final approval incorporates the modifications and corrections derived from the total or partial acceptance of the allegations presented, in the terms set out in the plenary agreement.

With this step, the project is definitively approved, leaving behind the public exhibition phase prior to the execution of the pacification works in the urban section.

• Article 37.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities.
• Article 235 of Legislative Decree 2/2003, of April 28, which approves the Revised Text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia.
