Alberite convoca una plaza de auxiliar administrativo por oposición libre

The Alberite City Council has announced a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant in General Administration, as a career civil servant, through a competitive examination and open entry process. The call was approved by Mayoral Resolution number 2026-0316, dated September 28, 2026, and is published in full in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 188, dated September 30, 2026, with the official reference BOR-A-20260930-II–1110.

The position is linked to the municipality’s 2023 public employment offer, approved by Mayoral Resolution number 2023-0219, dated August 23, 2023, and published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 173, dated August 25, 2023. The announcement bears the signature of the Mayor-President, María Esperanza García Olarte, and complies with the provisions of Article 6 of Royal Decree 896/1991, of June 7.

Characteristics of the announced position

The call comprises a single vacant position, with the following conditions:

  • Position subject to the call: one.
  • Status: career civil servant.
  • Scale: General Administration; sub-scale: Assistant.
  • Group/Subgroup: C/C2.
  • Category: Administrative Assistant.
  • Selection system: competitive examination, open entry.
  • Job position: number 103 of the municipal Job Position List.

The process is governed by Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the Bases of Local Regime; Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, on the Basic Statute of Public Employees; Royal Decree 896/1991; Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and Law 1/2003, of March 3, on the Local Administration of La Rioja.

Twenty-business-day deadline and 15-euro fee

Applications must be submitted within twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary of the call in the Official State Gazette. The application shall follow the standardized model of Annex III and be addressed to the Mayor-Presidency, accompanied by a photocopy of the ID (DNI), proof of payment of the fee and, where applicable, documentation accrediting the status of job seeker.

The examination fee is 15 euros, payable to the IBERCAJA and CAIXABANK accounts indicated in the rules. Those who prove their status as job seekers through a document issued by the corresponding public services office will be exempt. The amount will not be refunded under any circumstances, even if the applicant is not admitted.

Two eliminatory exercises and employment pool

The competitive examination consists of two mandatory exercises, one theoretical and one practical, according to Annex II:

  • First exercise: a 50-question questionnaire with five reserve questions, 60 minutes in duration, three alternative answers per question, 0.20 points per correct answer and 0.05 points penalty per error; maximum of 10 points and minimum of 5 to pass.
  • Second exercise: one or several practical cases regarding the functions of the position; maximum of 10 points and minimum of 5, with 70% of the grade linked to the volume and understanding of knowledge, 20% to the clarity of ideas, and 10% to written expression.

The final grade is the sum of both exercises, up to 20 points, and only a number of candidates equal to the number of vacancies called may be declared passed. Exercises that cannot be performed jointly will begin with the letter “B”, in accordance with the Resolution of June 29, 2026, of the State Secretariat for Public Function, published in the Official State Gazette number 161, of July 3, 2026. The tribunal will also propose an employment pool, with indefinite validity, composed of those who achieve at least 5 points in the first exercise without passing.

Qualifying Tribunal and Process Publicity

The qualifying tribunal will be a collegiate body and will consist of a president, three members, and a secretary, all of whom are career civil servants of the Alberite City Council or any other public administration, with the secretary having a voice and vote. Their appointment corresponds to the Mayor’s Office and will be published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja and on the municipal notice board.

Both the call for applications and the rules are published in full in the Official Gazette of La Rioja and on the municipal electronic office, and the summary will be sent to the Official State Gazette. Subsequent announcements and results will be disseminated at least twelve or twenty-four hours in advance on the electronic office and on the notice board of the City Hall, at plaza José María Trevijano number 3.

The call opens a stable access route to local public employment in La Rioja with a single vacancy at stake and an eliminatory process of two tests, therefore competition among applicants will be maximum. Job seekers are exempt from the fee, an incentive for a Group C2 profile that only requires a Secondary Education Graduate degree.
