Albacete publishes the final lists of successful candidates for Maintenance Officer

The Albacete City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete the final lists of individuals who passed the selection processes for the provision of vacant positions for Maintenance Officer (career civil servants), included in the Public Employment Offers of 2022, 2023, and 2024. The announcement, signed by the delegated councilor Alberto Reina Moreno, appears in issue number 97 of the gazette, dated August 21, 2026, page 4, with the official reference 22.134.

The Evaluating Board made the final lists public on two dates: May 11 and June 30, 2026, thus closing a municipal public employment selection process that had extended since the calls of the last three fiscal years.

The five successful candidates

The process has been resolved in two separate categories. In the internal promotion category, there is a single successful candidate, while the general open access category adds four more people, completing the five selected:

• Internal promotion category: Escobar Munera, Hilario (ID *7699).
• General open access category: García Esteban, José Manuel (ID *7583).
• General open access category: García Fernández, Carlos (ID *9644).
• General open access category: Molina Monteagudo, Tomás (ID *7632).
• General open access category: Ruiz Moreno, Ángel Manuel (ID *3869).

Deadline and required documentation

In accordance with section 12.1 of the general rules governing the selection processes of the Albacete City Council for the selection of career civil servants (published in BOP no. 122, of October 18, 2024), successful candidates have a period of twenty business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement, to provide the documentation through the City Council’s General Registry or its electronic office.

The required documents vary by category:

• Internal promotion category: Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
• General open access category: Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate degree or equivalent.
• General open access category: document certifying that the person does not suffer from any illness or physical defect that prevents the exercise of the function.
• General open access category: sworn statement of not having been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings nor being disqualified from public functions.
• General open access category: copy of the NIF (Tax ID), Social Security number document, and bank account number document.

Closing of the process

With this publication, a municipal selection process is closed, which began with the job offers of 2022, 2023, and 2024 and now culminates with the incorporation of five new career civil servants into the City Council’s maintenance service. Successful candidates who do not submit the documentation within the specified period may forfeit their rights; therefore, the resolution represents a definitive step toward the consolidation of these positions within the municipal workforce.
