Albacete opens the 60,000 euro grant for occupational adapted transport
Por FactBox Admin

The Albacete City Council has opened a public competitive grant process intended to collaborate in the financing of adapted transport to occupational or labor centers for non-profit associations during the 2026 year, with a budget of 60,000 euros. The extract of the agreement from the Local Government Board dated September 10, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 125, dated October 26, 2026, in the third section (Local Administration), with the National Grants Database identifier BDNS 936716.
Regulatory framework and managing body
The publication of the extract is supported by articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, which require the publicity of calls through the National Grants Database. The full text of the call can be consulted in the BDNS under reference 936716.
The managing body is the Albacete City Council, through the Infrastructure and Urban Mobility Service. The regulatory basis consists of the terms of the call and the applicable regulations, published in the BOP of Albacete on September 24, 2021. The agreement was signed by the Local Government Board in Albacete, with a signing date of September 10, 2026.
What is financed and who can apply
The purpose of the call is to promote integration, inclusion, and access to employment through the co-financing of transport services provided by non-profit entities to transport their members or workers to occupational, training, or employment centers.
According to the extract, the following may apply:
- Non-profit associations and entities.
- Entities whose purposes include the development, training, and integration of people with disabilities.
- Entities whose objectives encompass the purposes provided for in the terms and in the call itself.
Application period and justification
The deadline for submitting applications is 15 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete, via the BDNS, which places the closing date around November 10, 2026.
The justification must be submitted once the subsidized activity has concluded, by means of a report or justification of the activity’s completion along with the invoices for the expenses subject to the grant. The maximum date for justification is March 31, 2027.
Impact for social entities
The call for applications comes with an amount of 60,000 euros for a full year and a shortened procedure: the summary refers to the 2021 guidelines and the BDNS file, where the annexes and the full call document are detailed. For associations of people with disabilities in Albacete, this line covers a recurring expense that is difficult to finance through other means, such as the daily transport of users and workers to occupational, training, or employment centers. The fifteen-calendar-day deadline leaves a tight margin, so interested entities must prepare the documentation ahead of the November deadline.
