Alameda de la Sagra definitively approves its 2026 municipal budget

The Plenary of the City Council of Alameda de la Sagra definitively approved the Municipal Budget for the 2026 fiscal year, amounting to 4,561,997.75 euros, by agreement adopted on July 30, 2026. The resolution, which includes the execution bases and the staff list of civil service and contractual personnel, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo, number 168, of September 3, 2026 (reference No. I.- 3930, verification code 2026.00003930).

The approval is processed in accordance with Article 169 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries (Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5) and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20. The document, signed on August 28, 2026, by the Acting Mayor, Antonio Jimeno Jiménez, is displayed for general knowledge and relevant purposes.

A balanced budget by chapters

The budget presents identical total expenses and income, 4,561,997.75 euros, with a significant weight on the personnel chapter and real investments. The main expenditure chapters are:

  • Personnel expenses: 1,834,727.38 €
  • Current expenses on goods and services: 1,735,409.46 €
  • Real investments: 792,905.43 €
  • Current transfers: 120,891.64 €
  • Financial liabilities: 59,463.84 €
  • Financial expenses: 18,600.00 €

On the income side, current transfers (1,776,726.38 €), direct taxes (1,093,769.67 €), and fees, public prices, and other income (845,026.18 €) stand out, in addition to capital transfers (763,605.52 €).

Personnel staff and high-ranking officials

In accordance with Article 90 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, the annex of the personnel staff for 2026, funded in the budget, is published. High-ranking officials total 113,170.00 € and include:

  • Rafael Martín Arciollar, Mayor-President: 46,464.04 €
  • Verónica Cuéllar Pinto, 1st Deputy Mayor: 16,200.00 €
  • María Luz Díaz Guerra Salinero, 2nd Deputy Mayor: 16,200.00 €
  • Antonia Jimeno Jiménez, 3rd Deputy Mayor: 16,200.00 €
  • Álvaro Martín Gutiérrez and Javier Mateo Alonso, Councilors: 10,482.36 € and 7,623.60 €

Civil service personnel (354,267.41 €) include the Secretary-Auditor Carlos José Espinosa Garrido (64,631.80 €), the Archive Technician Francisco Javier Jerez Sánchez (47,681.07 €), the Administrative Assistant Inmaculada Redondo López (45,991.76 €), and Local Police officers, among others.

Contractual personnel and employment programs

Contractual personnel amount to 939,653.97 € and include both individualized positions and collective items. Notable positions include:

  • Cristina Jordán Fernández, Employment and Local Development Agent: €46,764.76
  • Cristina Aranda Rodríguez, Administrative Assistant: €30,041.04
  • Juan Pedro Martínez Díaz, Supervisor: €31,435.44
  • César Blázquez Lapuente, Sweeper Driver: €19,759.32
  • Rosana Del Viso Alonso, Cleaner: €17,568.24

Added to this are collective items such as school cleaners (€130,951.68), home care assistants (€80,930.05), sports instructors (€36,788.88), employment plan (€140,000.00), employment workshop (€105,000.00), and Provincial Council employment plan (€68,376.00). Total personnel expenses amount to €1,407,091.38.

The publication of the budget and the staff list provides legal certainty to the municipality’s economic management and opens the way for contracting and the employment programs planned for the fiscal year. An administrative appeal may be filed against the final approval in the form and within the time limits established by the regulations of said jurisdiction, according to Article 171.1 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries.
