Grants of up to 400 euros per team for solidarity races in Vilobí d'Onyar

The Vilobí d’Onyar City Council has opened the call for grants for participation in solidarity races during the year 2026, with aid of up to 400 euros per team. The extract of the agreement of the Local Government Board dated August 25, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP no. 167, of August 31, 2026), and applications can be submitted until September 7, 2026.

The purpose of the call is to provide financial support to residents of the municipality who wish to participate in solidarity races organized by non-profit solidarity entities or foundations where participation is team-based. The total allocation for the grant is 400 euros, with a maximum of 400 euros per team and a limit of four subsidized teams, charged to budget application 2.231.48003 of the 2026 municipal budget.

Regulatory bases and purpose

The regulatory bases were approved by agreement of the City Council Plenary in an ordinary session held on May 28, 2020, and were published in BOP no. 115, of June 16, 2020. The eligible expenditure is the registration fee and the donation required from the team to participate in the solidarity race.

The execution period of the activity begins with the opening of the race registrations and ends two months after its conclusion. The aid is aimed at races taking place within the year 2026.

Who can apply for the aid

Beneficiaries may be persons registered as residents in the municipality of Vilobí d’Onyar who participate on behalf of the team, provided they are not affected by any of the prohibitions of article 13 of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17. The main requirements are:

• The composition of the team must be, at minimum, 50% residents of the municipality.
• Only one application per person or team may be submitted for the call.
• The distribution of the amount will be made according to the evaluation criteria and scale of appendix 1 of the call.

Deadline and documentation

The deadline for submitting applications runs from the day after the publication of the extract in the BOP of Girona, through the National Grants Database (BDNS), until September 7, 2026. Applications must be submitted using the standardized form available on the City Council website, at the General Registry, or at any of the locations provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure.

The documentation to be attached includes:

• Photocopy of the applicant’s ID and a list of the team members with their IDs.
• Declaration regarding other grants requested or obtained for the same activity.
• Responsible declaration of sufficient economic capacity to participate in the race.
• Proof of the team’s registration for the race.
• Commitment to include the official City Council logo on the equipment with dimensions not smaller than 8 cm x 6 cm.
• Details of the organizing entity.

The call, identified with number 926515 in the BDNS, represents an opportunity for entities and residents of Vilobí d’Onyar to join solidarity causes with the financial support of the council, which covers the registration and the teams’ donation. The mayor, Lluís Salvi Camps, signs the extract on August 26, 2026.
