Aguilar announces the Luces de Poley youth competition with 2,200 euros in prizes

The City Council of Aguilar de la Frontera has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba the call and the regulatory bases for the contest “Luces de Poley: the challenge”, a cultural and heritage gymkhana aimed at the youth of the municipality. The call, identified by number BOP-A-2026-3038, appears in issue number 172 of the gazette, dated September 4, 2026, page 12850, and has a budget of €2,200.00 in prizes.

The announcement is published as an extract of the call, in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database with the identifier BDNS 927243. The bases were approved by Mayoral Resolution No. 2026/00002763, dated August 31, 2026, and are available on the Edicts Board of the municipal electronic office.

Objective and participants

The competition aims to bring culture and heritage closer to the youth of Aguilar through an outdoor gymkhana, promoting teamwork. People between the ages of 14 and 30 who are registered residents of Aguilar de la Frontera may participate, organized in teams of four members.

• Age: from 14 to 30 years.
• Groups of four people, registered residents of the municipality.
• Maximum capacity: 40 groups (160 people in total).
• Minors must have authorization from their father, mother, or legal guardian.
• The first member of each group will act as the representative and contact person for the organization.

Prizes and registration

The maximum budget allocated for the prizes of the group modality amounts to €2,200.00, which will be charged to application 3370-48500 of the General Budget of the Local Corporation for the 2026 fiscal year. The registration period will begin on September 10, 2026, and end on October 1, 2026.

Applications shall be submitted according to the model in Annex I, duly completed and signed by all group members and, where applicable, by their legal representatives. No incomplete or unsigned registration will be accepted. The registration and information point will be at the Casa de la Juventud, at number 10 Santa Brígida Street in Aguilar de la Frontera.
