Aguaviva approves its 2026 budget, 775,929 euros

The Aguaviva City Council has definitively approved its General Budget for the 2026 financial year, for a total amount of 775,929.05 euros, as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The agreement, adopted in accordance with Article 169 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel (number 163, of August 27, 2026, reference No. 2026-2520).

The budget, comprising the General Budget of the Entity, the Execution Bases, and the Personnel Staffing Table, is balanced in its expenditure and income statements, both for the aforementioned amount of 775,929.05 euros.

Expenditure Statement

The personnel expenditure chapter concentrates the largest item, followed by current expenditures on goods and services. The breakdown by chapters is as follows:

Income Statement

On the income side, current transfers, fees and public prices, and direct taxes are the main sources of financing:

Chapter 5, Patrimonial income: €25,000
Chapter 6, Disposal of real investments: €9,000

Personnel Staffing Table

The agreement also includes the approval of the Corporation’s Personnel Staffing Table, which is structured into career civil servants, permanent contractual staff, and fixed-term contractual staff:

Career civil servants: 1 Secretary-Auditor, group A1, grouped with the Las Parras de Castellote City Council, occupied on an interim basis.
Permanent contractual staff: 1 Adult School teacher at 50% working hours (DGA-DPT Agreement).
Fixed-term contractual staff: 1 general administrative assistant, 1 administrative and library assistant, 1 bailiff-multi-service operator, 2 part-time cleaners, and 1 Early Childhood Education teacher (DGA Agreement).

An administrative appeal may be filed directly against the final approval of the budget in the manner and within the timeframes established by current regulations, as provided for in Article 171 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The announcement appears signed in Aguaviva as of the date of the electronic signature.

The final publication of the municipal accounts provides legal certainty to the economic management of the municipality for the 2026 financial year, while establishing the actual investments and the personnel structure with which the City Council will face the year, a key piece of data for residents, suppliers, and entities operating with the Corporation.
