Aguas del Río Tajuña expone al público su presupuesto de 2026

The Tajuña River Water Association (Mancomunidad de Aguas del Río Tajuña) has opened for public review its General Budget for the 2026 financial year, initially approved in an ordinary session of the entity’s Assembly on October 15, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara (BOP) No. 209, dated November 2, 2026, and initiates a fifteen-day period for submitting claims and allegations. The file is available both at the municipal offices and on the association’s electronic headquarters.

The agreement is adopted in accordance with the provisions of Article 169 of the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20. Along with the budget, the mandatory documentation of the file is presented. The announcement was signed in Chiloeches on October 28, 2026, by the president of the entity, Marcos Cascajero Cascajero.

Fifteen days to examine the file

The public exhibition period is fifteen days starting from the publication of the announcement in the Guadalajara BOP, which took place on Monday, November 2, 2026. During this period, any interested person may examine the file to formulate any allegations they deem appropriate.

There are two enabled channels for consultation:

  • The municipal offices of the entity.
  • The electronic headquarters of the Tajuña River Water Association.

The announcement includes its own verification code (e794003baf77a324d63b62744f16ad056713d1ea) to certify the authenticity of the published document.

Final approval if there are no claims

In accordance with the agreement adopted by the Assembly, the General Budget will be considered definitively approved if no claims are submitted during the aforementioned period. That is, the initial approval is automatically upgraded to final approval upon the expiration of the public information period without challenges.

The procedure follows the standard local treasury scheme:

  • Initial approval by the entity’s governing body on October 15, 2026.
  • Public exhibition of the file and mandatory documentation for fifteen days.
  • Automatic upgrade to final approval if no allegations are registered.

A busy administrative calendar at year-end

The publication coincides with another procedure from the same entity in the BOP. Two days prior, issue number 208, dated October 30, 2026, included the public exhibition of the General Account corresponding to the 2025 financial year, reported by the special accounts commission and supported by Article 212 of the same regulation. That announcement also set a fifteen-day period and appeared signed by Marcos Cascajero Cascajero in Chiloeches on October 28, 2026.

Both procedures therefore share the same issuing body, signature, and time window, such that the association closes the administrative year with the 2025 accountability report and the processing of the 2026 budget in parallel.

What is at stake for the territory

The General Budget is the instrument that organizes the annual income and expenses of the Mancomunidad de Aguas del Río Tajuña, which is why its processing directly affects the integrated municipalities and the users supplied by the entity. The public information phase is the only formal occasion for interested parties and city councils to raise objections before the accounts are closed.

The calendar is decisive: if no claim is filed, the budget will be definitively approved at the conclusion of the fifteen days open following the publication on November 2, 2026. Any written submission arriving after that deadline will have no suspensive effect on the Assembly’s agreement.
