Por FactBox Admin

The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Affairs and Environment of the Government of La Rioja has published a request for correction addressed to applicants for grants for the execution by Operational Groups (OG) of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) for innovative projects regarding productivity and sustainability. The announcement, signed by the Head of the Agricultural Production Service, Daniel del Río de Pablo, is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 148, dated August 19, 2026, and grants a period of ten days to complete the documentation.
The call was approved by Resolution 2144/2025, of December 30, from the Department itself. After receiving 15 applications within the deadline and verifying the submitted documentation, it has been found that it is insufficient according to article 15 of Order AGM/83/2024, of November 12, which approves the regulatory bases for granting innovative cooperation subsidies within the scope of the CAP Strategic Plan (PEPAC) 2023-2027.

Most frequent issues
The detected deficiencies are repeated in most of the files and affect both the generic documentation and the descriptive and economic reports.
- Certificates of payment status from the City Council for all partners, whether expired or nearing expiration.
- Lack of three comparable offers from independent companies for investments, R&D&i services, and innovation agents.
- Incomplete descriptive reports: lacking identification of plots, sampling dates, personnel, and hours dedicated.
- Economic reports with amounts exceeding the maximum of 250,000 euros or that do not match the descriptive report.
- Binding documents without the signatures of all partners or without the minimum content required in Annex III.
Deadline and consequences
Applicants have ten days starting from the day following the publication of the request in the Official Gazette of La Rioja to submit or complete the documentation, in accordance with Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Otherwise, they will be considered to have withdrawn their application for aid.
The resolution, dated in Logroño on August 17, 2026, affects Riojan cooperatives, wineries, and agricultural companies applying for European funding for projects on digitalization, sustainability, and improving the competitiveness of the primary sector; therefore, compliance with the deadline is decisive to avoid losing access to these grants.
