Agramunt definitively approves the rehabilitation project for the water reservoirs

The Agramunt City Council has definitively approved the works project for the “Adaptation and improvement of the municipal drinking water reservoirs of Agramunt (rehabilitation of the Convent reservoirs)”, an action valued at 100,000.47 euros. The agreement, signed by Mayor Sílvia Fernández Tarragona, is published in the Mayor’s edict of the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida (BOP) no. 190, dated October 6, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026_0_190_8147 and file number 1684/2026.

The Local Governing Board of the Agramunt City Council initially approved the project in the session of July 13, 2026. The file was submitted for public consultation for thirty days through an announcement published in BOP no. 142, dated July 28, 2026, and on the municipal notice board. As no claims or allegations were presented within this period, the approval has become definitive without the need for any subsequent agreement from the corporation.

The document is electronically signed by the mayor on September 30, 2026, and incorporates the validation code 5LQGTNN5YFMS5EL25E6K996XW, verifiable at the municipal electronic office.

A budget of 100,000 euros for drinking water

The executive project sets the economic figures upon which the work will be tendered:

• Base tender budget: 82,645.02 euros.
• Value Added Tax (21%): 17,355.45 euros.
• Total budget amount: 100,000.47 euros.

The action is part of the adaptation and improvement of the municipality’s municipal drinking water reservoirs, with the rehabilitation of the so-called Convent reservoirs as the main objective. The definitive approval of the project is the necessary previous step to promote the tender and execution of the work.

Technical drafting of the project

The drafting of the project was carried out by the company AB INGENIERIA CIVIL SL, with the participation of two technicians:

• Santiago Laborda Farrán, technical engineer of public works, member number 9,633.
• Silvia Casas Larrosa, civil engineer (roads, canals, and ports), member number 31,998.

Deadlines and means of appeal

The agreement is final in the administrative channel and the following may be filed against it:

• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Lleida, within a period of two months from the publication of the announcement.
• Appeal for reversal before the Local Governing Board, within a period of one month starting from the day following the publication.
• Any other appeal deemed appropriate.

The definitive approval unlocks the tender for a key work for the supply of drinking water to the municipality and closes a file that had passed the public information process without any opposition. The residents of Agramunt will thus see the start of the rehabilitation of a basic infrastructure to guarantee the quality of the water service.
