The Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (Agadic) has resolved the third round of the grants called for the international promotion of Galicia’s audiovisual industry and video games in 2026, as published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) number 155 of Tuesday, 18 August 2026. The resolution, issued on 10 August 2026 by the president of the Governing Council of Agadic, José Carlos López Campos, and its director, Jacobo Sutil Nesta, specifies the granting of subsidies under a non-competitive concurrence regime for those entities that submitted complete and verified applications between 27 May and 19 June 2026.
Regulatory framework and call for applications
The call had previously been published on 26 March 2026 in DOG number 57, under the Resolution of 6 March 2026, which establishes the regulatory bases for procedure CT404D. The regulation provides that applications are processed in order of entry until the budget allocation is exhausted, with the Presidency of the Governing Council being competent to resolve by delegation from the Governing Council.
In this third round, of the applications received within the indicated period, a total of 11 applications were complete and verified for assessment. Following the audited instruction process, the director of Agadic submitted a draft resolution on 7 July 2026 that included both the grants awarded and those rejected due to the exhaustion of the available budget in category A.
Beneficiaries and projects
The DOG details on page 44993 a list of Galician production companies and professionals who secured financial support for their presence at leading international markets. Among the subsidised projects, the following stand out:
- Accidental Films, S.L.: Marché du Film - Cannes 2026 and European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
- Iván López Gimeno: European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
- OlloVivo, S.L.: European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
- Maruxiña Film Company, S.L.: Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI).
- Serea Producións, S.L. and Sintagma Films, S.L.: European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
- Big Rights, S.L.: European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
- Filmika Galaika, S.L.: Guadalajara International Film Festival and International Film Festival Rotterdam.
- Testaferro, S.L.: Visions du Réel Nyon, BAFICI, Ventana Sur 2025 and European Film Market - Berlin 2026.

- Treboamedia, S.L. (category C): Cartoon Movies.
- Visioners Entertaiment, S.L.: European Film Market - Berlin 2026.
Resources and deadlines
The resolution exhausts the administrative route, establishing that it may be optionally appealed through a motion for reconsideration before the same body that issued it, within one month counted from the day following its publication in the DOG. Alternatively, interested parties may challenge the decision directly before the trial courts of the Contentious-Administrative Section of Santiago de Compostela within a period of two months.
Publication in the official bulletin has the effect of direct notification to the interested entities, without prejudice to the supplementary communication that will be sent to them by Agadic. The partial exhaustion of the credit in category A implies that no new grants of this category will be awarded in this year 2026, except in the legal exceptions provided for in Law 9/2007, of 13 June, on subsidies of Galicia.
