Appeal admitted against the rules for four administrative positions

The Local Government Board of the Benicàssim City Council has admitted for processing the appeal for reversal filed by Mr./Ms. M.J.P.T. against the governing rules of the selection process for the permanent filling, via a competitive examination for internal promotion, of four positions for General Administration Clerks. The agreement, adopted on August 28, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 104, dated August 29, 2026, with reference 03871-2026-U.

Admission of the appeal and hearing process

The agreement, signed by the Mayor-President Susana Marqués Escoín, admits for processing the appeal filed against the rules approved by agreement of the Local Government Board on June 12, 2026. Along with the admission, it is agreed to open the hearing process to all possible interested parties and future applicants of the selection process.

Interested parties are granted a period of ten business days, counted from the day following the publication of the agreement in the provincial gazette, to appear in the proceedings, examine the appeal filed, and formulate allegations and present the documents they deem appropriate.

Consultation of the file and data protection

The administrative file will be available for consultation by interested parties at the Human Resources Section of the Benicàssim City Council. The gazette expressly states that, in compliance with current data protection regulations, the content of the appeal subject to public consultation has been duly anonymized.

The agreement also provides for its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón, its insertion in the council’s Notice Board and on the municipal website, in order to ensure maximum dissemination, as well as the notification to the appellant regarding the admission of their appeal and the opening of the hearing process.
