Modular Admission for Vocational Training in Castilla-La Mancha for 2026/2027

The General Directorate of Vocational Training of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has regulated the offer, development, and admission call for modular Vocational Training education of grades D and E in face-to-face mode for the 2026/2027 academic year. The regulation, signed on September 15, 2026, by the general director José Rodrigo Cerrillo Patiño, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) no. 182, of September 22, 2026, with the official reference 2026/6728. The calendar sets the provisional allocation for October 7 and enrollment from October 15 to 19, 2026.

The resolution is based on Organic Law 3/2022, of March 31, on the organization and integration of Vocational Training, and Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, whose article 28 allows grades C, D, and E to have a modular offer starting from a single professional module. It develops the previous calls of the course: the Resolution of 04/22/2026 (face-to-face intermediate and higher grade cycles, DOCM no. 80, of April 29, 2026) and the Resolution of 06/10/2026 (adult education centers). The stated objective is to adapt training to the personal learning pace and the personal and professional circumstances of adult students.

Requirements and modalities of the offer

• Modality a): professional modules of Intermediate Grade, Higher Grade cycles, and Specialization Courses in Integrated Vocational Training Centers, Secondary Education Institutes, Adult Education Centers (CEPA), and private subsidized centers, as well as Basic Grade modules in CEPA with vacant places.
• Modality b): modules included in VT titles specified in specific training and requalification agreements between an educational center and a public or private entity or company.

It is required to be 18 years old by December 31, 2026; exceptionally, those over 16 and under 18 who have entered the labor market and are active may gain access. For intermediate and higher grades, the access requirements of the Resolution of 04/22/2026 apply; for specialization courses, the qualification of Technician or Higher Technician. Access is also permitted for adults with work experience who do not meet the academic conditions, for the purpose of lifelong learning and labor inclusion. Students may enroll in a number of modules that does not exceed a total of 1030 teaching hours.

Admission process calendar

• September 21, 2026: publication of the offer of vacant modules on the centers’ notice boards.
• From the day following the publication in the DOCM until October 1, 2026: application period for modality a). Modality b) has no deadline and can be submitted throughout the course.
• October 2, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.: public draw at the headquarters of the Department, at Bulevar del Río Alberche, s/n, Toledo, to resolve ties.
• October 7, 2026: provisional award.
• October 8 and 9, 2026: period for claims before the management of the requested center.
• October 14, 2026: final award, appealable by administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the Provincial Delegation.
• October 15 to 19, 2026: enrollment at the educational center, including payment of school insurance.

Applications shall be submitted preferably electronically with an electronic signature through the Electronic Office of the Junta (https://www.jccm.es), or in person at the registry of the Provincial Delegations of Education, Culture, and Sports. The form appears as an annex to the resolution (procedure 045329, SIACI code SKU3).

Priority and Tie-breaking Criteria

For basic level modules, priority is given to students enrolled in the modular offer of the same cycle and center in 2025/2026; followed by those who have completed a Professional Competence Evaluation and Accreditation Process or hold a professional certificate from the same family; and, lastly, to the youngest applicants.

For intermediate level, higher level, and specialization courses, the same continuity criterion applies, followed by the accreditation of competencies, the grade point average of the academic record, and work experience in sectors related to the requested modules.

Agreements with Companies and Company-Based Training

Agreements between centers and companies require a favorable report from the Provincial Delegation and express authorization from the General Directorate, and must include the objective, duration, list of employees, equipment, schedule, and financial compensation. Students external to the company may not exceed five people per module.

Students who have taken the modular offer and have partially passed modules or modules pending dual evaluation may enroll from September 14 to 30, 2026, to carry out the Company Training Period (PFE), which in certain cases will have a duration of 500 hours.

The resolution takes effect from the day following its publication, and an administrative appeal may be filed against it before the Department within one month. For thousands of students and families, the calendar opens a flexible path to complete vocational training (FP) modules without taking the full cycle, but with very tight deadlines: barely two weeks to apply and a single week to formalize enrollment.
