Adjudicadas veinte viviendas públicas en ocho municipios de Extremadura

The Regional Housing Commission of the General Directorate for the Promotion and Maintenance of Public Housing has approved the final lists of awardees, waiting lists, and lists of excluded persons for the award procedures of public promotion housing in eight Extremaduran municipalities. The resolution was adopted in the session of September 23, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura number 191, dated October 2, 2026, via an announcement from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, and Housing (reference 2026081610). In total, twenty homes are being awarded.

The publication is carried out in compliance with article 45.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The order of the applicants corresponds to the valuation criteria established by Decree 115/2006, of June 27, which regulates the award procedure for public promotion housing in the autonomous community. The announcement is signed by the secretary of the Regional Housing Commission, Elena Serda Rico.

Twenty homes distributed among eight localities

The awarded homes correspond to new construction developments and vacant homes from existing groups, with the following individuals and scores:

  • Los Santos de Maimona: one vacant home (group 7442, account 007) for Silvia Sánchez Osuna, with 116.25 points.
  • Puebla de Obando: three new construction homes (file PRC/2024/0000097221) for Valerina Redondo Carrillo (72.00), Noemí Acosta Saavedra (70.00), and Aida Belén Trapilla Cebrino (67.5).

Waiting lists: 39 applicants

The annex also includes the waiting lists for each procedure, with 39 people in total, ordered by descending score:

  • Los Santos de Maimona: ten people, led by Rufina Salazar Saavedra (105.75).
  • Puebla de Obando: three people, the first being Jenifer Fernández Silva (65.00).
  • Yelbes: one person, Carolina García Ruíz (62.00).

  • Almoharín: five people, the first being Diego Sánchez Carrasco (80.00).
  • Solana de los Barros: thirteen people, led by Antonio Garcia Ramirez (67.00).

Exclusions and withdrawals in La Pesga

The procedure for La Pesga is the only one that details exclusions and withdrawals. Elena García Rubio, Rocío Marcos Vega, and Elena Viejo Domínguez are excluded because the weighted family income of their family units exceeds twice the IPREM, which violates article 7.B) of Decree 115/2006, of June 27.

Mirian Gutiérrez Viejo, M.ª Luisa Ruíz Cortés, and Fany Viejo Rodríguez appear as having withdrawn for failing to provide the required documentation in a timely and proper manner, in accordance with article 12.4 of the same regulation.

One-month period to appeal

Against the published lists, interested parties may file an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the Minister of Infrastructure, Transport, and Housing within one month, counting from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of Extremadura.

The resolution of these final lists closes the valuation phase and opens the formalization of awards, meaning the twenty selected families will be able to access public promotion housing in municipalities where the public residential offer is limited. For the remaining applicants, inclusion in the waiting lists maintains their position for future vacancies, while exclusions and withdrawals nullify their participation in these procedures.
