The call is formalized through the Agreement of September 3, 2026, signed by the Councilor for the Area of Culture, Sports, and Education, Adolfo Sebastián Alonso Ferrera, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife number 109, dated September 11, 2026, page 25955.
The grants are awarded on a competitive basis and are charged to the budget application 326/48100, “Complementary Education Services/awards, scholarships, and study pensions,” for a total amount of 150,000 euros. The announcement is listed in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 928308.
Regulatory Framework and Beneficiaries
The call is governed by the Municipal Ordinance for Study Grants of the Adeje City Council, approved by the Plenary of the Corporation on February 24, 2023, and published in BOP number 51, dated April 28, 2023, subsequently modified as stated in BOP number 97, dated August 12, 2024.
Students registered as residents in Adeje who pursue post-compulsory studies in the 2026/2027 academic year may be beneficiaries:
- University studies.
- Enabling master’s degrees.
- Higher-level vocational training cycles.
The purpose of the aid is to respond to the significant demand from residents in recent years and to offset the economic effort that the acquisition of technological equipment represents for families, favoring the continuity of the academic training of the municipality’s students.
Deadline and Method of Submission
The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, counted from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife via the BDNS. If the last day of the period is a Sunday or a holiday in Adeje, it will be understood as extended to the first following business day.
Applications, according to the model in Annex I, may be submitted through the following channels:
- By electronic means, through the specific procedure available on the electronic office https://adeje.sedelectronica.es/.
- In person at the Education office, Monday to Friday, except holidays, during public service hours (8:00 to 14:00 hours).
- At the other registries referred to in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The application must be accompanied by documentation proving representation, where applicable, proof of enrollment for the 2026/2027 academic year for all students for whom the aid is requested, the valid DNI/NIE of the applicant and other members of the family unit, and proof of the family unit’s monthly economic income.
A certificate issued by the corresponding public center proving that the required percentage of credits has been passed to be eligible for the benefit is also required, as well as the registration of third parties with bank details and the IBAN code. For first-year undergraduate or master’s students, a sworn statement confirming their academic status without a prior university curriculum is accepted, and additional documentation is considered for special family situations or situations of special need.
Relevance of the call
This line of aid reinforces the municipality’s commitment to equal opportunities in access to higher education, alleviating the cost of technological devices essential for the development of university and vocational training studies. With a budget of 150,000 euros, the call becomes a key instrument for families in Adeje to face the start of the 2026/2027 academic year under conditions of equity.
