Adeje cede inmueble de El Vallito para un centro de educación especial

The Adeje City Council has initiated the proceedings for the transfer of use of the municipal property located at calle El Vallito nº 10, in the town center of Adeje, in favor of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, for the purpose of designating it as a public special education center. This is stated in the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife number 108, dated September 9, 2026, page 25765.

The action is part of the management of the assets of the Canarian Local Corporations and is processed in accordance with the provisions of Article 7.g of Decree 8/2015, of February 5, for the streamlining and modernization of the asset management of the Canarian Local Corporations, and Article 110.1º.f) of the Regulations on Assets of Local Entities. The proceedings were initiated by a decree dated August 12, 2026.

The transferred property

The asset subject to the transfer is of a patrimonial nature and is identified by the cadastral references 0715443CS3101N0001QK and 0715443CS3101N0000MJ. It is registered in the Property Registry nº 601, with CRU 38015000144268, and has a surface area of 1,389.16 square meters.

Period for allegations

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the announcement is submitted for public information so that any interested party may examine the file in the Heritage Section of the local entity and present any allegations they deem appropriate. The enabled period is 20 days from the publication of the announcement in the official gazette.

The announcement appears signed in Adeje on September third, two thousand twenty-six, by the delegate councilor of the Area of Presidency and Territorial Planning, Manuel Luis Méndez Martín, via an electronically signed document.

Impact for the municipality

The transfer of this patrimonial property to the Ministry of Education will allow progress in providing a public special education center in Adeje, an infrastructure of great relevance for families in the municipality and the region, who until now have depended on places in other centers on the island. The processing, which takes place within the framework of collaboration between the City Council and the Government of the Canary Islands, represents a concrete step toward expanding the public specialized educational offer in the south of Tenerife.
