Adanero presents its 2023 and 2024 general accounts to the public

The Adanero City Council has agreed to make its general accounts for the 2023 and 2024 fiscal years available for public inspection, following the favorable report from the Special Accounts Commission regarding their proper justification. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila, number 163, dated August 25, 2026, under numbers 1717/26 and 1718/26.

This measure is adopted in compliance with Article 212 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Legislative Decree 2/2024, of March 5. During the inspection period, those who consider themselves interested parties may submit claims, objections, or observations they deem appropriate regarding the municipal economic management.

Period and Method of Consultation

The general accounts for both fiscal years will be available to the public for a period of fifteen days from the date of publication. The documentation can be consulted on the council’s electronic office and at the local Secretariat.

Two Fiscal Years, One Single Procedure

The announcement is processed simultaneously for both economic years, allowing residents to review the municipal management of 2023 and 2024 at once. Each fiscal year is published with its own file number in the provincial gazette.

Signature and Responsible Body

The announcement was signed in Adanero on August 14, 2026, by the mayor-president, Natalia Torrecilla Perrino, in her capacity as the head of the local governing body. The Special Accounts Commission has previously issued its report on the proper justification of both accounts.

The public exhibition of the general accounts constitutes an essential instrument of citizen control over municipal economic management. With this publication, the residents of Adanero can verify the destination of public funds and exercise their right to make allegations before the accounts are definitively approved.
