Adamuz approves a budget of 5.77 million and publishes its staff list

The Plenary of the Adamuz City Council (Córdoba) definitively approved the Corporation’s budget for 2026, amounting to 5,775,337.88 euros, in an extraordinary and urgent session held on September 14, 2026. The agreement resolved the allegations submitted to file Gex 2684/2026 and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba No. 180, dated September 17, 2026, pages 13286 to 13288, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3130. The announcement is signed by the Mayor-President, Rafael Ángel Moreno Reyes.

The text is disseminated in compliance with Article 169.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, which approves the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, which requires the publication of the summary by chapters once the file has been definitively approved. The same resolution incorporates the personnel establishment for the fiscal year, published in accordance with Article 126 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18.

A budget balanced between income and expenditure

The municipal accounts close with an identical amount in both magnitudes, 5,775,337.88 euros, without resorting to debt. The published breakdown by chapters is as follows:

• Income: chapter 1 (direct taxes), €1,257,744.63; chapter 2 (indirect taxes), €62,149.47; chapter 3 (fees and other income), €320,018.27; chapter 4 (current transfers), €3,991,417.97; chapter 5 (patrimonial income), €94,007.54; chapter 7 (capital transfers), €50,000.00.
• Expenditure: chapter 1 (personnel), €1,507,016.10; chapter 2 (current goods and services), €3,535,245.05; chapter 3 (interest), €22,100.00; chapter 4 (current transfers), €478,296.57; chapter 6 (real investments), €232,680.16.

Current transfers account for 69.1% of the projected income, while current expenditure on goods and services absorbs 61.2% of the total. Chapters 8 and 9 remain at zero in both columns.

Personnel Establishment: 39 positions, with 19 vacancies

The establishment for 2026 totals 39 positions: 16 career civil servants and 23 labor personnel from own services. Of these, 19 are listed as vacant.

• Career Civil Servants (16): Secretary-Comptroller (National Qualification, A1, occupied); Head of Audit (C1, occupied); Head of Secretariat (C1, vacant); Administrative Officer (C1, vacant); five Administrative Assistants (C2, one vacant and four occupied); Municipal Architect (A1, vacant); Chief Local Police Officer (C1, occupied); four Local Police positions (two occupied and two vacant) and one Local Police position in secondary activity (occupied).
• Contract Staff (23): Works Supervisor and Services and Maintenance Laborer (vacant); two Services and Maintenance Officers (occupied); two Communal Forest Guards (occupied); Sports Promoter (vacant); two Lifeguards and two Pool Ticket Clerks (vacant); two Sports Instructors (vacant); Nursery Management (A2, occupied) and three Nursery Instructors (occupied); two Rural Housing Cleaners (occupied) and four Cleaners (vacant).

Reinforcement of the municipal technical structure

The publication of the staff list coincides with other personnel movements of the City Council this summer. The Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba No. 166, dated August 27, 2026, included Decree No. 1091/2026, dated August 14, by which Noemí Iglesias Cans was appointed as interim Municipal Architect, as a temporary substitute for the permanent holder on temporary disability leave. The Municipal Architect position now appears as vacant in the approved staff list.

The budget of Adamuz is the reference economic document for the residents of the municipality during 2026: it sets the spending ceiling for all municipal services and details the personnel structure providing them. Its final approval closes the processing initiated with file Gex 2684/2026 and enables the execution of the accounts for the current fiscal year.
