ACRA moves to strike 118 companies off Singapore register

The Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) has given notice that 118 companies will be struck off the Register of Companies unless cause to the contrary is shown, under section 344A of the Companies Act 1967. The notice, numbered G.N. No. 5364, was first published in the Republic of Singapore Government Gazette on 16 September 2026 at 5 pm. It appears in the section of the Gazette devoted to notices under other Acts.

The notice states that at the expiration of 60 days from the date of the notice, the undermentioned companies will be struck off the Register of Companies unless cause to the contrary is shown. Counting from 16 September 2026, that period runs to 15 November 2026.

Two further notices in the same edition apply the equivalent regime to limited liability partnerships under section 64 of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2005. G.N. No. 5384 lists five LLPs that will be struck off unless cause is shown, and G.N. No. 5385 records one LLP struck off with effect from 16 September 2026.

Why it matters

The notice is published for general information, which places the 118 companies on public record and opens the 60-day window in which any interested party may show cause to the contrary. Once that window closes, the companies named in G.N. No. 5364 face removal from the Register of Companies.
