ACCIÓ increases aid for the internationalization of Catalan companies to 4.5 million

ACCIÓ is increasing the allocation for the call for grants for internationalization and multi-localization projects for Catalan companies to 4,500,000.00 euros. The measure is formalized by Resolution EMT/3369/2026, of September 16, which modifies the call open for the year 2026 and is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) no. 9757, of September 23, 2026, with the reference CVE-DOGC-A-26264033-2026.

The resolution, signed by executive director Joan Romero i Circuns by authorization of the delegated minister, modifies article 4.1 of Resolution EMT/1879/2026, of June 10, which approves the regulatory bases of the grant line for internationalization projects, and thus updates the call opened by Resolution EMT/2000/2026, of June 18 (ref. BDNS 914011). The maximum amount allocated to the call is set at 4,500,000.00 euros, charged to budget item D/7025/4700001/662.

The increase is based on article 4.2 of the call resolution, which allows for the increase of amounts through a resolution of the delegated minister of ACCIÓ, and has the authorization of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Business Competitiveness of March 24, 2026. The Agency has the necessary additional budget to carry out the operation, as stated in the published text.

Two aid lines and distribution by annual installments

• Line 1, grants for international promotion projects: 3,000,000.00 euros (2,400,000.00 in 2026 and 600,000.00 in 2028).
• Line 2, grants for multi-localization projects: 1,500,000.00 euros (1,200,000.00 in 2026 and 300,000.00 in 2028).
• 2027 installment: 0.00 euros in both lines.
• Budget item for both lines: D/7025/4820001/662.

Processing and entry into force

The regulation falls within the Department of Enterprise and Work and the Agency for Business Competitiveness (ACCIÓ), and incorporates the prior report from the legal advisory service. The resolution enters into force on the day of its publication in the DOGC, September 23, 2026, although it is dated in Barcelona, September 16, 2026.

Other lines expanded by ACCIÓ

Two days earlier, DOGC no. 9755, of September 21, 2026, published two more expansions from the Agency:

• Resolution EMT/3309/2026, of September 14, which increases to 2,100,000.00 euros the call for grants for new business opportunity projects (ref. BDNS 912188).
• Resolution EMT/3308/2026, of September 14, which sets at 2,000,000.00 euros the call for the granting of subsidies for cooperative projects (ref. BDNS 912194).

The expansion provides more financial leeway for Catalan companies wishing to open foreign markets or deploy multi-location projects, in a context where ACCIÓ has simultaneously reinforced several of its aid lines for the 2026 financial year. The amounts are primarily committed in the 2026 annual budget, with a residual part in 2028 and no allocation in 2027.
