Abrera tenders street maintenance for 263,756 euros

The Abrera City Council has approved the valued report on the state of conservation of various streets in the municipality (phase-3), with a contract execution budget of 263,756.89 euros, including 21% VAT. The decision was adopted through Decree No. 2026/2037, issued by the Mayor’s Office on August 21, 2026, and was made public through the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) on August 28, 2026.
The resolution, which corresponds to file 5153/2026, initiates the procedure for the contracting of a public work aimed at improving the urban road network. The official document, identified by reference CVE 202610135507, also establishes the publication of the announcement on the City Council’s notice board and the communication of the resolution to the involved internal services.
Scope of the action
The valued report, dated July 2026, collects the state of conservation of various streets in the municipality in its third phase. The action is part of a maintenance and improvement program for the local road network that is developed in successive phases.
The contract execution budget of 263,756.89 euros includes 21% VAT. The operative part of the decree provides for the processing of the contract and its official publication in order to publicize the bidding process.

Appeal deadlines
The following appeals may be filed against the resolution:
- Optional appeal for reversal before the body that issued it, within a period of one month starting from the day following the publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure.
- Contentious-administrative appeal before the contentious-administrative courts of Barcelona or the interested party’s domicile, within a period of two months, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, on contentious-administrative jurisdiction.
In the event of dismissal by administrative silence of the appeal for reversal, the deadline for the contentious appeal shall be six months starting from the day following that on which it is understood to be dismissed.
Impact for residents
The tender for these conservation works represents a direct improvement in the quality of Abrera’s public roads, with the rehabilitation of streets that present deficiencies in their state of conservation. The investment, of nearly 264,000 euros, translates into safer and more accessible maintenance of the urban space for residents and visitors, and opens the door to the participation of construction companies in the bidding process.
