Public information opened for 793 meters of fiber optics in Darro

The Territorial Delegation of Sustainability and Environment in Granada has opened a one-month public information period regarding the occupation of the Cañada Real de los Potros, in the municipality of Darro, to install 793 meters of 5G fiber optic ducting. The request was submitted by Masbusiness Infrastructures, S.L. and is being processed under file VP@1162/2026 (OVP 304/26). The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 185, dated September 24, 2026, with official reference BOP-GRA-2026-185002.

The announcement is signed by the Territorial Delegation of Sustainability and Environment in Granada and is issued within the framework of its competencies over livestock routes, attributed by Structure Decree 200/2026, Decree 190/2026, and Decree 478/2026, all dated July 30. The resolution is based on Article 14 of Law 3/1995, of March 23, on Livestock Routes, and Articles 14 and 15 of Decree 155/1998, of July 21, which approves the Livestock Routes Regulations of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

The procedure is completed in accordance with the provisions of Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and Article 13.1.e) of Law 1/2014, of June 24, on Public Transparency of Andalusia. The opening of the process affects the holders of rights over the livestock route and the municipality of Darro as a whole.

The project: 793-meter ducting

The object of the file is the so-called “New 5G fiber optic line via 793m ducting,” promoted by Masbusiness Infrastructures, S.L. on lands of the livestock route Cañada Real de los Potros, in the municipality of Darro (Granada).

One month to consult and object

The agreement establishes that the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province so that, within a period of one month from its publication, any allegations deemed relevant may be submitted.

The documentation will be available for consultation on the Portal of the Junta de Andalucía, in the Transparency Section, under the Active Publicity heading, with direct access to the documents submitted for public information. The file may also be examined at the administrative offices of the Territorial Delegation, at Avda. Joaquina Eguaras nº 2, 3rd floor, office c-1, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, except on holidays.

Allegations, addressed to the head of the body adopting the agreement, must be submitted in writing at any Administration registry: the General Electronic Registry of the Junta de Andalucía, any registry of the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment, or any other admitted administrative registry.

Other livestock route files

The same edition of the bulletin includes a second agreement from the Territorial Delegation regarding livestock routes. It refers to file VP@1149/2026 (OVP 161/26), in the municipality of Loja, for the “Water supply pipe replacement project” requested by the Loja City Council on the livestock route Cordel de Huétor y Granada, with an identical public information period of one month.

Both announcements share the same scheme of publicity, electronic consultation, and submission of allegations, and are published consecutively in the Autonomous Administration section of the provincial bulletin.

Impact for residents and holders

The opening of the public information period allows owners, rights holders, and any interested party in the municipality of Darro to express their views on the layout of the pipeline before the Administration resolves the occupation. The procedure affects protected land such as a livestock route, therefore the allegations submitted within the one-month period will condition the final authorization of the fiber optic project.
