Deadline and jury
The deadline for the submission of candidacies will end ten business days counting from the day following the publication of the order. The qualifying jury will be presided over by the holder of the General Secretariat for Sport, and will assess the sporting results of each category, rankings, projection, sporting level, and interest for Galician sport, with special attention to the highest-level competitions such as Spanish, European, and world championships, and Olympic and Paralympic games.
The awardees will solemnly receive a trophy and an accrediting diploma in a public act, and the jury’s agreement will be published in the Official Gazette of Galicia and on the website of the General Secretariat for Sport.
This call represents an opportunity for clubs, city councils, and sporting entities throughout Galicia to highlight the work of athletes, teams, and people who contribute to the promotion of sport and active lifestyle habits in the community, in a recognition that has consolidated itself as a reference annual event in the Galician sporting calendar.
