A Xunta amplía en 695.000 euros o crédito para parques empresariais

The Department of Economy and Industry is increasing by 695,000 euros the credit for grants destined for the enabling and improvement of infrastructure in Galicia’s business parks and is extending the deadline to justify the investments. The decision is detailed in the Order of September 25, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 185, of September 29, 2026, in section III, pages 50613 and 50614, with the reference CVE-DOG: fqgtd3u2-vmu5-tkr1-1m74-fu7yqxtor0k9. The regulation comes into force the day following its publication, that is, September 30.

The order modifies the Order of February 2, 2026 (DOG no. 22, of February 3), which established the regulatory bases under a competitive bidding process and the 2026 call for subsidies for the enabling and improvement of infrastructure in business parks, processed under procedure code IN519B. Article 2 of that order set an initial allocation of 3,448,437.80 euros charged to budget application 09.03.732-A 760.0 and provided for the possibility of increasing the item based on the applications submitted and the availability of credit, without this implying the opening of a new application period.

The modification is based on Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia, and Decree 11/2009, of January 8, which approves its regulation, and is signed by the regional minister Mª Jesús Lorenzana Somoza.

More money for works in industrial estates

Article 1 of the new order modifies Article 2 of the dispositive part of the Order of February 2, 2026, and increases the total amount of the budget credit by 695,000.00 euros. With the expansion, the 2026 annuity increases from 3,448,437.80 to 4,143,437.80 euros.

The funds come from the availability of credit from another project of the same department. According to the published text, the appropriate budget modification was carried out by incorporating the amount into application 09.03.732A.760.0, in order to meet the processing needs of the order.

Justification gains two and a half weeks

Article 2 extends the execution and justification period provided for in Article 21.1 of the bases. Beneficiary councils had a deadline until October 31, 2026; they will now have until November 16, 2026, inclusive, to present the supporting documentation for the subsidized investments.

The extension is justified by three reasons detailed in the order itself:

  • The date of the resolution of the grants, caused by the high volume of applications received.
  • The increase in the number of beneficiaries resulting from the increase in credit.
  • The current problem in the supply of construction materials, which causes delays for construction companies in the execution of the works.

The stated objective is to make the execution and justification processes viable for the resulting beneficiaries without causing prejudice to third parties.

Beneficiary councils and subsidized actions

The grants are intended for the councils of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. The list of beneficiaries was published in the Resolution of August 4, 2026, of the General Directorate of Industrial Strategy and Business Land (DOG no. 152, of August 13, reference CVE-DOG: mmbasq84-dse4-0nl9-uh15-uizuvhks7c40), which includes 54 files with a maximum amount of 120,000 euros per action. Among the actions are:

  • Concello de Narón: pavement reinforcement on the main road of the Río do Pozo industrial estate, 120,000.00 euros (file IN519B-2026-00000023-00).
  • Concello de Monforte de Lemos: improvement of road infrastructures in the Reboredo industrial estate, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000036-00).
  • Concello de Boqueixón: improvement of the road network of the Camporrapado industrial estate, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000051-00).
  • Concello de Oroso: replacement of pavement on Álvaro Cunqueiro avenue, in Sigüeiro, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000003-00).
  • Concello de Vilalba: sanitation and renovation of the pavement at the access to the industrial estate from the LU-P-65, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000019-00).
  • Concello de O Porriño: improvement of the infrastructures of the A Casilla industrial estate, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000061-00).
  • Concello de Cervo: improvement of accessibility and renovation of the curbs in the Cuíña industrial estate, 120,000.00 euros (IN519B-2026-00000008-00).

The list also includes councils such as San Cibrao das Viñas, Vilamarín, Valga, Palas de Rei, Melide, Santa Comba, Coirós, Ponteceso, Viveiro, Agolada, Bergondo, or A Lama, with actions regarding lighting, paving, sanitation, pedestrian mobility, and waste management.

Impact

The credit extension and the prolongation provide breathing room for councils that received the grant resolution later than expected and that face works conditioned by the lack of construction materials. With the new calendar, projects gain two and a half weeks to justify the investments, while the program budget grows by 20.2% compared to the initial allocation.
