The Xunta opens a call for the general sub-directorate of Institutional Relations

The Department of Presidency, Justice and Sports has opened a public call to fill, through the system of free appointment, the position of Deputy Director General of Institutional and Parliamentary Relations, vacant in the department. The order, signed on July 21, 2026, by the counselor Diego Calvo Pouso, was published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 163, of August 28, 2026, on pages 46887 to 46889.
The call is processed under article 92 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, on public employment in Galicia, and articles 25 to 28 of Decree 151/2022, of August 4, which approves the Regulation of mobility procedures for career civil servants of the General Administration of the Autonomous Community.
Characteristics of the position
The called position, with code PR.C06.00.001.15770.001, is assigned to the General Directorate of Institutional and Parliamentary Relations, based in Santiago de Compostela. Its conditions are as follows:
- Group/Subgroup: A1.
- Level: 30.
- Type of assignment: A11, that is, indistinct assignment for civil servants of the Xunta de Galicia, the State, and the autonomous communities.
- Specific training: 640 for personnel from another Administration, with a Galician language improvement course (R.I.).
Career civil servants who meet the conditions indicated in Annex I of the order may apply.
Submission of applications
Applications, according to the model in Annex II, shall be addressed to the Technical General Secretariat of the department and must be submitted electronically through the standardized form of administrative procedure PR004A, available on the electronic office of the Xunta de Galicia (https://sede.xunta.gal). The deadline is fifteen (15) business days counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Galicia.
For electronic submission, any of the identification and signature mechanisms admitted by the electronic office may be used, including the Chave365 user and password system. Persons who submit the application in person will be required to amend it electronically. Applicants must provide their curriculum vitae and documentarily justify the merits claimed.
Deadlines and appeals
In the event that career civil servants from other public administrations are selected, a favorable report from the competent body of their administration of origin will be required. The resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of Galicia and may be declared void if deemed appropriate.
- Taking office: three (3) business days if no change of residence is involved, or seven (7) business days if it involves a change of residence; one (1) month when the successful candidate obtains reentry into active service.
- Appeals: optional appeal for reversal before the Minister of Presidency, Justice and Sports within a period of one (1) month, or contentious-administrative appeal within a period of two (2) months.
The call for applications represents a mobility opportunity for career civil servants from different administrative areas, as it concerns a high-level (30) position of indistinct assignment in a general directorate with functions related to Parliament and institutions, which reinforces the relevance of this position for professional careers within the Galician Administration.
