UDC acquires an apartment in A Coruña for 450,125 euros

The University of A Coruña (UDC) will hold a public auction on November 6, 2026, for a dwelling with a storage room and a parking space located at Enrique Dequidt Street, number 16, 9º J, in A Coruña, with a tender price of 450,125.00 euros. The call, signed by Rector Ricardo José Cao Abad on September 24, is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) number 185, dated September 29, 2026, in section VI of announcements, with the reference CVE-DOG: deblvrw3-xkz4-64q9-wcm5-vpcptrjo6gf4. The auction is an ascending bid, with offers presented orally, and is open to any interested party.

The procedure is managed by the Management of the University of A Coruña, which appears as the body conducting the auction. The public act will take place at 12:30 p.m. in commission room number 1 of the Administrative Building of the Rectorate, at Maestranza Street 9, in A Coruña. The specifications governing the tender can be consulted on the UDC electronic notice board.

The tender price practically coincides with the appraisal value of the assets, which totals 450,124.87 euros. Of this amount, 405,218.31 euros correspond to the dwelling and the storage room, while the parking space is appraised at 44,906.56 euros.

Deadlines, submission of offers, and visits

The application for participation and the attached documentation may be submitted in advance until October 22, 2026, or in situ before the auction board on the day of the event; in the latter case, no period will be granted to correct deficiencies.

Advance submission: General Registry of the University of A Coruña, addressed to the Management, in person at the Administrative Building of the Rectorate (Maestranza Street 9, 15001 A Coruña) or electronically via the UDC electronic office.
Submission is also permitted through any of the means specified in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
If the application is submitted outside the general registry, an email must be sent on the same day to servizo.contratacion.administrativa@udc.gal; without this email, the application will not be admitted.
Applications received more than five calendar days after the final submission date will not be admitted.
Property visits: the request must be sent before October 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to secretaria.xerencia@udc.gal.

5% Guarantee and expenses borne by the successful bidder

To take part in the auction, it is an indispensable requirement to deposit 5% of the amount indicated as the tender type in the General Deposit Fund of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, as provided for in condition 6 of the specifications. Administrative documentation is presented according to condition 8 of the same specifications.

The auction of this property allows the University of A Coruña to divest its own real estate assets and obtain liquidity, while simultaneously offering individuals the possibility of acquiring a home of 126 useful m² with a storage room and parking in a consolidated area of A Coruña. The deadline for submitting early offers ends on October 22, therefore interested parties must decide in advance whether they will attend the auction on November 6.
