A Gudiña approves a protocol against violence in youth sports

The City Council of A Gudiña has initially approved the Municipal protocol of actions for the comprehensive protection of children and adolescents against violence in the field of sports and leisure. The decision was adopted by the Municipal Plenary in the extraordinary session of August 20, 2026, and the announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 14, 2026, in the local entities section.

The file is now subject to public consultation for a period of thirty (30) business days, starting from the day following the publication of this announcement in the provincial gazette. During this period, any interested person or entity may submit claims, allegations, or suggestions.

Legal framework and processing

The processing of the protocol is governed by article 49 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the bases of the local regime, and article 106 of the Regulation on organization, functioning, and legal regime of local entities. This is an ordinary procedure for the approval of provisions of a general nature, which requires public exhibition prior to its entry into force.

• At the municipal electronic headquarters, at the address http://a-gudina.sedelectronica.gal.

Effects of public exhibition

If no allegations or claims are submitted during the public exhibition period, the initial approval agreement will be understood as definitively approved, without the need for a new express agreement from the Plenary. In that case, the full text of the protocol will be published for its entry into force.

The announcement was signed on September 1, 2026, by the mayor, Néstor Ogando Blanco, and bears the reference R. 2.113.
