The Provincial Council sets November 18 as the first exercise for the graphic design position

The Deputación de Pontevedra has set November 18, 2026, at 9:00 hours, for the first exercise of the selection process for one graphic design technician position, integrated into group B and convened via internal promotion quota (CPI2026M). The Presidential Resolution determining this, processed under file 2026035035, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 194, dated October 8, 2026, and includes the definitive list of admitted and excluded applicants, the appointment of the qualifying tribunal, and the dates of its constitution and the first exercise.

The resolution was issued by the deputy delegate for Personnel matters, by virtue of the powers delegated by the Presidency. The provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants was made public in BOPPO no. 155, dated August 14, 2026, and the definitive list is now approved in accordance with the provisions of the eleventh base of the call and article 20 of Royal Decree 364/95, of March 20. The position is categorized within the special administration scale, technical sub-scale, faculty class, and is reserved for the internal promotion quota.

Only one admitted applicant

The definitive list is reduced to a single admitted person, while the list of excluded persons contains one person:

• Admitted: Ana Isabel Gil Campelo.
• Excluded: Iago Fontoira Araujo, for not providing or possessing the qualification required in the call and for not accrediting seniority as a career official of the Deputación de Pontevedra in the position indicated in the specific bases.

Composition of the qualifying tribunal

The resolution appoints the titular and substitute members of the selection body:

• Permanent Chairperson: Rebeca Domínguez Pérez, head of the Institutional Communication service.
• Substitute Chairperson: Hugo González Fernández, industrial technical engineer, Cooperation service.
• Permanent Secretary: Andrés Carlos Fernández Lucas, management technician, Infrastructure and Provincial Roads service.
• Substitute Secretary: Sonia Mateos Escudero, head of administrative management of the Infrastructure and Provincial Roads service.
• Permanent Member: Anabel Domínguez de Lima, head of the design and image section, Institutional Communication service.
• Substitute Member: Reyes Camiña Castro, medium technician in graphic archive conservation, Pontevedra Museum.
• Permanent Member: Marcos Dopico Castro, dean of the Faculty of Design and lecturer for the Degree in Design and the Master’s in Design and Creative Direction in Fashion, University of Vigo.
• Substitute Member: Francisco Javier Pastoriza Portela, head of the communication section, Institutional Communication service.
• Permanent Member: Patricia Dopico Rodríguez, vice-dean of the Faculty of Design and lecturer for the Degree in Design and the Master’s in Design and Creative Direction in Fashion, University of Vigo.
• Substitute Member: Ana Mateos Escudero, data planning analyst, Cooperation service.

Constitution and first exercise

• Constitution of the tribunal: November 11, 2026, at 9:00 hours, at the Pazo Provincial da Deputación, Avenida Montero Ríos s/n, Pontevedra.
• First exercise: November 18, 2026, at 9:00 hours, at the same location.

Applicants must present themselves provided with a national identity document or another reliable document proving their identity in the judgment of the tribunal, as well as the appropriate and necessary material means for the practice of each exercise.

Abstention, refund of fees, and appeals

Members of the tribunal must abstain from intervening, notifying the chairperson, when any of the circumstances provided for in article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the legal regime of the public sector, occur, or when they have performed preparation tasks for applicants during the five years prior to the publication of the call. Applicants may challenge the members in accordance with article 24 of the same regulation.

In compliance with the ninth base, examination fees will be reimbursed to persons who are definitively excluded, through the “Refund of undue payments” form available on the electronic office of the Deputación de Pontevedra, together with a bank account certificate.

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, the following may be filed:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the same body, within a period of one month from the day following the notification (articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1).
• Appeal before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra, within a period of two months (article 46 of Law 29/98, of July 13).

The publication closes the admission phase and opens the effective calendar of tests, such that the interested parties now know exactly when they must appear and before which court. With the definitive list established, any subsequent change may only occur by means of an appeal or by express agreement of the convening body.
