The Provincial Council of Lugo announces a vacancy for a Book Workshop Official within the labor staff, reserved for vertical internal promotion and included in the 2026 Public Employment Offer. The agreement was adopted by the provincial Governing Board in the ordinary session of September 25, 2026, and is published in the BOP Lugo no. 225, of October 1, 2026, with reference R. 2606. The procedure is governed by the general rules approved by the Governing Board on 10.10.2025 (BOP no. 238, of 10.16.2025) for positions reserved for internal promotion, and its approval was based on article 59.5 of the Organic Regulation of the Provincial Council of Lugo, of 06.30.2020 (BOP no. 202, of 09.03.2020). The proposal originated from the Deputy Delegate of the Area of Internal Regime, Territorial Promotion and Tourism and was approved unanimously.

Against the agreement, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Governing Board within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Lugo within two months, counted from the day following publication. The announcement is signed by the general secretary, José Antonio Mourelle Cillero, in Lugo on September 28, 2026.
Impact
The call opens a promotion route reserved for the permanent labor staff of the Deputación, who may access a higher qualification position in the bookbinding workshop without competing with external candidates. The position was already vacant and provided for both in the personnel framework and in the Job Position Relationship, therefore its filling responds to a need established by the entity.
