The Deputación de Lugo announces seven assistant positions via open competition

The Governing Board of the Provincial Deputation of Lugo, in an ordinary session held on August 21, 2026, approved the call and the specific bases for admission as career civil servants to seven (7) positions designated as Auxiliary, included in the Public Employment Offer (OEP) for the year 2023. The resolution was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo no. 195, of August 27, 2026, under reference R. 2304.

The positions are called via the open competition system, in the free access turn, and are framed within the general administration scale, auxiliary subscale, classification group C, subgroup C2. These are vacant positions with budgetary allocation, the selection for which will be governed by the general bases approved by the Governing Board on March 12, 2021, and published in the BOP no. 101, of May 6, 2021.

Positions and requirements

The seven called positions correspond to position numbers 2094, 976, 972, 971, 970, 969, and 498, all of them included in the OEP 2023, approved by presidential resolution on 12.28.2023 and published in the BOP no. 298, of 12.30.2023, corrected by resolution on 01.15.2024 (BOP no. 015, of 01.18.2024) and modified by resolution on 07.16.2024 (BOP no. 165, of 07.17.2024).

• Required qualification: graduate in compulsory secondary education or equivalent.
• Galician level: Celga 4.
• Selective system: open competition, in accordance with article 169.2 of Legislative Royal Decree 781/1986.

Selection process

The competition phase consists of four exercises, all of them mandatory and eliminatory, with a total score of 30 points:

• First exercise (common subjects, topics 1-4): written presentation of a topic or multiple-choice test, scored from 0 to 10, with a minimum of 5 points to pass.
• Second exercise (specific subjects, topics 5-19): written presentation of a topic selected by lottery, scored from 0 to 10.
• Third exercise (specific subjects, topics 5-20): practical case, scored from 0 to 10.
• Fourth exercise: Galician language test (Celga 4 level), qualified as fit or unfit, with an exemption for those who prove the required level.

Processing and appeals

The publication of the call in the Official State Gazette (BOE) will start the period for submitting applications, and an extract will be sent to the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG). Against the agreement, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Governing Board within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Lugo within two months.

This call represents a free-access public employment opportunity for citizens, by opening seven auxiliary positions in the provincial administration of Lugo, guaranteeing the constitutional principles of equality, merit, and capacity in the selection of civil service personnel.
