The Deputación da Coruña formalizes 42 contracts for 10.5 million in August

The Provincial Council of A Coruña formalized 42 contracts between August 1 and August 31, 2026, with a combined amount of 10,563,314.99 euros. The complete list is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña (BOP) number 179, dated Friday, September 18, 2026, under announcement number 2026/6042 and file 2026000028395. The bulk of the funds is allocated to works by groups of municipalities, along with cultural contracts, supplies, and services.

The publication is made in application of article 154 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, which requires the publication of the list of formalized contracts. The announcement was signed by the president of the Council, Valentín González Formoso, and the acting general secretary, Paula María Vázquez Carrasco, in A Coruña on September 16, 2026, and is processed by the General Secretariat through the Heritage and Contracting Service.

The contracts range from number 122 to 163 of the series and span from small modifications of 1,822.98 euros to the work on the Vía Verde de Compostela-Tambre in Santiago, amounting to 766,382.09 euros. Most were awarded through an open procedure with a single award criterion, although there are also negotiated contracts without publicity and extensions.

Works by groups of municipalities

The main block consists of works organized by groups of municipalities. Among the mentioned regions are those of Mañón and As Pontes and those of Ferrol and Narón.

The list is completed with other groups of municipalities, such as Group 1B Cariño (Copasa Infraestructuras, S.L.U., 261,444.65 euros) or Group 35 Coristanco, Santa Comba and Zas (Construcciones Ponciano Nieto, S.L., 323,594.76 euros). Also notable are the pedestrian paths on roads DP 5602 Negreira to Pontenafonso and DP 1302 Negreira to Urdilde, awarded to Arines Obras y Proyectos, S.L. for 691,560.57 euros, and the work on the Vía Verde de Compostela-Tambre in Santiago, section 2.2, for Construcciones Ponciano Nieto, S.L. for 766,382.09 euros.

The publication in the BOP allows companies and residents of the affected regions to know who is executing the works and for what amount, in addition to facilitating the monitoring of execution and the filing of appeals. The groups of municipalities with awarded works cover a large part of the province, from Cariño and Mañón to Negreira, Santiago or Coristanco.
