The Provincial Council of A Coruña formalized a total of 17 contracts, extensions, and modifications between October 1 and October 31, 2026, with allocated amounts totaling 4,290,822.26 euros. The list was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña (BOP) number 213, dated Friday, November 6, 2026, in an announcement from the General Secretariat, Heritage and Contracting Service, under official reference 2026/7233.
The publication responds to the mandate of Article 154 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, which requires the periodic dissemination of contracts formalized by administrations. The administrative file supporting the announcement is 2026000033775, and the document was signed in A Coruña on November 4, 2026, by the president, Valentín González Formoso, and the general secretary, Miguel Iglesias Martínez.
The table contains 17 records numbered from 187 to 202, with an additional entry identified as 193 BIS. Against the 4,290,822.26 euros in allocated amounts, the tender budgets for the files with published base prices reach 4,572,234.98 euros, reflecting moderate decreases in most awards.

The two largest actions of the month are road-related and together total nearly three million euros:

The services block includes the largest non-work contract of the period, the maintenance of the provincial communications infrastructure, along with commercial dissemination actions and presence at fairs:
- PCO.001.2026.00260: maintenance, support and operation of the Deputación’s communications infrastructure, awarded to Acuntia, S.A. for 421,526.93 euros (budget of 595,183.46 euros).

Extensions, modifications and minor contracts
Seven of the records correspond to extensions or modifications of existing contracts, a formula that allows services to be maintained without new bidding:
- PCO.001.2023.00449: modification of clauses 27 (payments) and 15 (formalization) of the specifications for the virtual reading club eBibliodacoruña of the Provincial Library, with Patricia Cernadas Novo as the awardee.

The list is completed by the show Músicas Posíbeis: Honra (the untold story of María Pita), at the Teatro Colón, awarded for 22,108.12 euros to Sara Pérez Fandiño through a negotiated procedure without publicity (PCO.001.2025.00936), and the lease of a premises in Ames for an auxiliary office for zone 3, for María del Carmen Gómez Gómez for 14,520.00 euros (PCO.001.2026.00555).
How it was awarded
The distribution by procedure shows the weight of open contracting:
- Four contracts via open procedure with a single award criterion: files PCO.001.2025.00145, PCO.001.2025.00624, PCO.001.2026.00425 and PCO.001.2026.00714.
- Four via open procedure with multiple criteria: PCO.001.2025.00725, PCO.001.2026.00555, PCO.001.2026.00670 and PCO.001.2026.00260.
- Two via negotiated procedure without publicity: the show at the Colón Theatre and the stand at the Barcelona Trade Fair.
The list allows for monitoring the pulse of provincial spending: the roadworks in Rois and Val do Dubra alone account for 70% of the total allocated amount, while the rest is divided between technological maintenance, promotion of local commerce, and extensions of recurring services.
