A Deputación da Coruña aproba a oferta de emprego público de 2026

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of A Coruña approved the 2026 public employment offer in the ordinary session held on September 25, 2026. The agreement was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 191, dated October 6, 2026, within the summary of agreements of the Governing Board and under the official reference 2026/6396.

The announcement, signed in A Coruña on September 28, 2026, by the president of the institution, Valentín González Formoso, and the general secretary, Miguel Iglesias Martínez, is included in the Local Administration (Provincial) section and was issued by the General Secretariat and the Corporate Information and Activity Section. The summary contains a single point: “Approval of the 2026 public employment offer.” The document does not specify the number of positions, professional categories, or deadlines, meaning the offer is approved as a preliminary step toward the development of the rules and the corresponding calls for applications.

What the approval of the offer entails

The public employment offer is the annual instrument through which the provincial administration determines the vacant positions it intends to fill with career civil servants or permanent contractual staff. Its approval by the Governing Board is the prerequisite for the selection processes to be called and for the general and specific rules regulating them to be published.

With the 2026 offer now approved, the Provincial Council of A Coruña opens the way to incorporate new personnel into the institution, once the positions are specified and the calls are published in the provincial gazette and the corresponding official journals.

Background: the 2025 offer and ongoing processes

The previous offer, corresponding to 2025, led to several selection processes that are currently being processed. Among the called positions are:

  • Two (2) positions for printing official - printing (B).
  • Two (2) positions for printing official - pre-printing (B).
  • One (1) position for printing official graphic designer (B).
  • One (1) position for social services technician (A2).
  • One (1) position for subaltern (AP), reserved for people with intellectual disabilities, included in the 2024 offer.
  • Two (2) positions for dance teacher (A1), from the 2022 and 2023 offers.

The calls for the 2025 offer were approved by resolution of the Presidency on July 28, 2026, published in the Official State Gazette number 190, dated August 5, and on August 4, 2026, published in number 196, dated August 11. The provisional lists of admitted and excluded persons were approved by resolutions 2026/39020, 2026/39048, and 2026/39049, dated September 8 and 9, with a non-extendable period of ten business days for amendments.

Other personnel movements

The Plenary of the Provincial Corporation, in the session of September 18, 2026, initially approved the Regulation for the selection of temporary personnel of the Provincial Council of A Coruña. The file is available for public inspection at the General Secretariat for thirty (30) business days from the publication of the announcement in the provincial bulletin, on September 29, 2026, for the submission of claims.

The 2026 public employment offer thus arrives in a context of intense activity in the Human Resources area of the provincial institution, which combines the resolution of the processes from the previous offer with the renewal of the selection rules for temporary personnel.

For people preparing for competitive examinations in the province, the approval of the 2026 offer is the first official sign that there will be new positions at the Provincial Council. The figure and the specific categories will be known once the processing of the offer is completed and the bases and calls are published, at which time the deadlines for submitting applications will open.
