The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña on August 24, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5527, signed by the president of the Council, Valentín González Formoso.
The application period will open at 08:00 hours on September 1, 2026, and will close at 14:00 hours on September 30, 2026. The call is governed by the regulatory bases published in BOP number 153 of August 13, 2026, and its summary is disseminated through the National Grants Database.
Beneficiaries and object
Non-profit entities in the field of social services that carry out their activity in the province of A Coruña and are registered as non-profit social initiative entities in the Single Registry of Social Service Provider Entities of the Xunta de Galicia may apply for the award.
The award aims to recognize and reward those entities that, in the judgment of the administration, stand out for their work in defending citizens’ rights and in favor of the most vulnerable groups, promoting greater social well-being for people, groups, and communities.
Amount and modalities
The call is endowed with €42,000.00, charged to budget application 0611/23121/481, distributed in two modalities:
- Projects modality: 5 awards of €7,000.00 each, for a total of €35,000.00, divided among the categories of scientific research in the field of social services, initiatives in rural areas, the area of elderly people, disability and dependency, the area of family, childhood and adolescence, and the area of social inclusion.
- Entity trajectory modality: 1 award of €7,000.00.
In the event that any category of the projects modality remains vacant, the jury may propose awarding more than one project in other categories, provided that in no case more than 5 candidacies are awarded in this modality. No entity that received an award in the two immediately preceding editions may be awarded.
Submission of applications
Both the applications and the rest of the processing of the call will be carried out electronically through the SUBTEL platform, accessible from the electronic office of the Provincial Council of A Coruña. The evaluation criteria will be those established in base 7 of the award bases.
This call represents a new boost to the province’s third sector, by valuing projects and trajectories that improve the lives of the most vulnerable people and contribute to greater social cohesion in the A Coruña territory.
