A Deputación convoca 120.000 euros para o programa Vive o rural 2027

The Deputación de Pontevedra has approved the regulatory bases and the call for grants for the “Vive o rural” 2027 environmental program, endowed with 120,000 euros and aimed at ANPAS (Parents’ Associations) and public and subsidized educational centers in municipalities of the province with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants. The Xunta de Goberno agreement number 2.377.58, adopted in the ordinary session of October 2, 2026, is published in the Boletín Oficial da Provincia de Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 193, of October 7, 2026, with official references 2026071960 (regulatory bases) and 2026071962 (extract). The deadline for submitting applications will open on October 19 and end on November 27, 2026.

This is the fourth edition of the program, promoted by the Servizo de Xuventude e Reto Demográfico (Youth and Demographic Challenge Service) of the provincial institution, which extends the offer to students of early childhood, primary, and compulsory secondary education. The call is processed under a non-competitive concurrence regime and is registered in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvencións (National Grants Database) with identifier BDNS 933540, under file 2026047933. The regulation is framed within article 77 of Law 5/2021, of February 2, for the demographic impulse of Galicia, and the provincial competencies of articles 36.1.d of Law 7/1985, of April 2, and 109.d of Law 5/1997, of July 22.

How much money is available and who can apply

  • The maximum total amount is 120,000.00 euros, charged to budget application 27/233.2310.480.02 of the 2027 provincial Budget, subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit.
  • The maximum amount per beneficiary entity is 1,250.00 euros.
  • The aid per student is 25.00 euros, with a limit of 50 students per center or ANPA.
  • The amount increases to 40.00 euros per student in centers with fewer than 50 enrolled students and a maximum of 30 participants in the activity.
  • Beneficiaries can be public and subsidized early childhood, primary, and ESO (secondary) centers based in municipalities of fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, as well as legally constituted ANPAS registered in the Rexistro de Asociacións (Registry of Associations) before the deadline.
  • Only one application per school center is permitted, submitted by the governing body or the ANPA.

How to apply and what the deadlines are

Applications must be submitted electronically via the Sede electrónica da Deputación de Pontevedra (https://sede.depo.gal), using Cl@ve system certificates or an electronic certificate. Along with the request, the accreditation of representation, the certification of the board of directors’ agreement (annex II), the registration document in the Registry of Associations, the responsible declaration for centers with fewer than 50 students (annex III), and the bank account ownership certificate must be provided.

  • Application period: from October 19 to November 27, 2026.
  • Correction of omissions: 10 business days from the request.
  • Execution of activities: between January and May and between September and December 2027, excluding Christmas and Holy Week.
  • Justification of the grant: until January 31, 2028.

What is financed and where it takes place

The grants cover the cost of admission to school farms for a one-day environmental outing —which may include meals at the farm itself— and the costs of round-trip travel via collective transport. The cost of admission for accompanying teaching staff is excluded. The visits consist of activities involving contact with animals, garden work, educational workshops, and games.

Annex I lists the school farms registered in the Youth Facilities Registry of the province:

  • Serantellos School Farm (36-GE-01), in Cambados.
  • FervenzAventura School Farm (36-GE-04), in Silleda.
  • El Kiriko School Farm (36-GE-05), in Fornelos de Montes.
  • Corazón de Carballo School Farm (36-GE-07), in Tomiño.
  • A Ecogranxa-Río Mouro (36-GE-10), in Poio.
  • A Gotiña School Farm (36-GE-13), in Covelo.

Who decides and in what order

The granting is processed until the available credit is exhausted. The priority order gives preference to public centers and their associated PTAs (ANPAS), and then to semi-private (concertados) centers and their PTAs; within each group, the date and time of entry into the electronic registry are counted. Applications that meet the requirements but remain without credit are placed on a waiting list.

The instruction corresponds to the head of the Youth and Demographic Challenge Service, while the resolution is the responsibility of the Governing Board. An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the resolution within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra. The extract is signed by the president, Luis López Diéguez, dated October 5, 2026.

The call continues a program that brings the countryside into the classrooms and which in this edition reaches more municipalities, with an allocation that allows for the financing of one-day outings to school farms in six municipalities of the province. For PTAs and centers in small municipalities, it is a direct way to cover transport and admission without their own contribution, provided they submit the application within the deadline and justify the expenditure before the end of January 2028.
