The Provincial Council grants Vía Depo subsidies to 49 councils for roads

The Governing Board of the Deputación de Pontevedra agreed, in an ordinary session held on September 11, 2026, to grant subsidies from the Extraordinary Plan Vía Depo to 49 municipalities in the province for the paving and rehabilitation of municipal roads. The agreements, adopted unanimously, were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 177, dated September 15, 2026, in the section of extracts from the Governing Board.

The session was presided over by the president of the Deputación, Luís López Diéguez, with the attendance of deputies Rafael Domínguez Artime, Luisa Sánchez Méndez, Roberto José Álvarez Carrero, Juan Pablo Castillo Amigo, Jorge Cubela López, Ricardo Martínez Chantada, Manuel Alejandro Lorenzo Alonso, María Pilar Ramallo Vázquez, and Jesús Vázquez Almuíña. The Extraordinary Plan Vía Depo constitutes a financing line from the Deputación de Pontevedra destined for the improvement of municipal road infrastructures. • Cangas de Morrazo: paving of the coastal road, Rúa Florida, Rúa Santoña, and Outeiro Balea road.
• A Estrada: repair of municipal roads.
• Lalín: improvement of municipal road infrastructures.
• Moaña: municipal paving plan 2026.
• O Porriño: improvement of road safety between San Campio and the rego das Laxas, in Pontellas.
• Sanxenxo: widening and paving of the Guillabae road (Dorrón).
• Tui: improvement of the surface of the N-550, section Río Louro bridge-ADIF bridge.
• Vilagarcía de Arousa: municipal road paving plan 2026, phase II.
