The Provincial Council grants 90,000 euros to twenty unique cultural projects

The Provincial Council of A Coruña has approved the granting and payment of the awards for the 2nd edition of the Award for Singular Cultural Projects for Social Improvement 2026, in category A) awards for projects, with a total amount of 90,000 euros distributed among twenty projects. The decision, adopted by Presidency resolution number 2026/38214, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 169, dated September 4, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5710.
The resolution, signed by president Valentín González Formoso and with the approval of the Culture, Equality and Civil Rights Service and the Audit Service, was proposed by the jury and will be paid from budget item 0612/3341/479 of the current budget. The document, dated in A Coruña on August 31, 2026, exhausts the administrative route and opens the possibility of filing an optional appeal for reversal within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months.

Five projects receive the maximum amount of 6,750 euros each:
- Juan Pablo Rodríguez Santiago, for Memoria migrante en movemento.
- Culturactiva Sociedade Coop. Galega, for CLIC. Programa de mediación cultural sobre o fin prematuro da infancia.
- Aantena, S.C., for A Rede do Mar: memoria mariñeira e saberes do mar na Costa da Morte.
- Noente Paradise, S.L., for Proxecto Rupestre Sonoro.
- Artefeito Producións, A. Coop. Galega, for VIVAS. Residencias artísticas de artes vivas con persoas con discapacidade.
Awards of 5,250 and 3,750 euros
Five projects achieve 5,250 euros:

- Carmen Purificación Ripamonti Mondelo, for Proxecto Arquivos Vivos.
- Arraianos Producións, S.L., for A arquitectura sen arquitectos, do Cebreiro a W 57th st..
- Berrobamban, S.L., for Somos os monstros.
- Pablo Chouza López, for Mulleres Barbanza Arousa.
With 3,750 euros are listed Martela Films, S.L. (A Pedra que fala), Azul Máis Verde Sociedade Coop. Galega (Círculos de comunidade na escola), Promove Consultoría e Formación, S.L.U. (Vidas de vidro), Melgo Cinema, S.L. (O noso pasar) and A Furna S. Coop. Galega Xuvenil (ALCUMES).
Awards of 2,250 euros
Closing the list, with 2,250 euros:
- Proxecto Espiga S. Coop. Galega Xuvenil, for O Demo Game Jam.
- Sinsal Audio, S.L., for Proxecto soños analóxicos.
- Cru Producións Sociedade Coop. Galega, for Cerimonias.
- Brava Sdad. Coop. Galega Xuvenil, for Canguro. Unha conversa sobre a maternidade na prematuridade.
- Aqueladas S. Coop. Xuvenil, for A vida borrada de Margot Sponer.
The net amounts will be received after applying withholdings of 15% for IRPF (Personal Income Tax) and 19% for IS (Corporate Tax), which will be deposited in CNP 20007 and 20012, respectively.
The call for applications consolidates a line of support from the Deputación to the province’s cultural fabric, rewarding projects that link artistic creation with social improvement, collective memory, inclusion, and innovation in the Galician language. For the creators and beneficiary entities, it represents direct funding that boosts their production and dissemination throughout the Coruña territory.
