The Provincial Council summons twelve candidates for the laboratory technician exam

The Deputación de Pontevedra has set October 14, 2026, for the celebration of the first exercise of the selection process convened to fill twelve positions of laboratory technical officer (CPI2026M). The presidential resolution, published in the Boletín Oficial da Provincia de Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 178, of September 16, 2026, approves the definitive list of admitted and excluded applicants, designates the qualifying tribunal, and sets the dates for its constitution and the first exercise. The file is processed under number 2026035035.

The positions are framed within the special administration scale, technical subscale, professional class, integrated into group B, and are convened via the internal promotion quota. The resolution was issued by the deputy delegate for Personnel by virtue of the delegated powers of the Presidency, in accordance with the eleventh base of the call and article 20 of Royal Decree 364/95, of March 20.

The provisional list was published in BOPPO number 155, of August 14, 2026. Once the period for appeals closed, the definitive list consists of twelve admitted persons and two excluded.

Twelve admitted and two exclusions

The definitive list of admitted persons is composed of twelve women:

• Ana María García Servia
• Ana Belén López Casal

Two people remain excluded: Lucas Cudilleiro Ozores and Alba García Rial. The reason indicated in both cases is the failure to prove seniority as a career official of the Deputación de Pontevedra in the position indicated in the specific bases. The resolution adds, in a note, that knowledge of the Galician language at the required level was also not proven.

The qualifying tribunal

The tribunal is composed of ten members, including titulars and substitutes:

• Chairperson: Concepción López Paz, head of the Environment service.
• Alternate Chairperson: Rosa Pérez Otero, head of the arthropods and integrated control section of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station.
• Secretary: Silvia Labraña González, head of the selective processes section of the HR and Training Service.
• Alternate Secretary: Estefanía Pérez Calvo, HR and Training documentary management technician.
• Member: Pilar Vela Fernández, head of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station service.
• Alternate Member: María José Lema Gesto, head of the edaphology section of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station.
• Member: Adela Abelleira Argibay, head of the viruses, bacteria, and nematodes section of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station.
• Alternate Member: Cristina Rial Martínez, head of the phytopathology section of the Areeiro Phytopathological Station.
• Member: Sergio Sueiro Quinteiro, head of the laboratory section of the Mouriscade Estate.
• Alternate Member: Natalia Rodríguez González, quality technician of the Mouriscade Estate.

Dates, venue, and obligations of the applicants

• The constitution of the tribunal will take place on October 6, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the Pazo Provincial da Deputación, on Avenida Montero Ríos s/n in Pontevedra.
• The first exercise will be held on October 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the Administrative Building on Avenida Montero Ríos in Pontevedra.
• Applicants must present themselves with a national identity document or an equivalent reliable document and with the material means necessary for the practice of the exercise.

Members of the tribunal must abstain from intervening when any of the circumstances of article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, occur, or when they have performed preparation tasks for applicants in the five years prior to the publication of the call. Applicants may recuse members in accordance with article 24 of the same law.

Appeals and refund of fees

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the same body within one month, or an appeal before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Pontevedra Court of First Instance within two months.

Examination fees will be reimbursed to those who are definitively excluded, using the “Refund of undue payments” form available on the electronic office of the Deputación de Pontevedra, together with a bank account certificate.

The publication closes the allegations phase and opens the effective calendar of an internal promotion process affecting a dozen female workers of the Deputación de Pontevedra, which will be largely decided on October 14. The applicants already know the date, time, and venue of the first exercise, as well as the composition of the tribunal that will evaluate them.
